Your question was: Why is my weight loss slowing down with Nutrisystem?.
How much do you have to lose? I know when I got within 25 pounds of my goal, the weight loss stopped several times for up to three weeks at a time. But trust me, the weight does come off. You have to have patience. You didn't gain all the weight over night and it won't come off like that either...
I apologize in advance is I am misreading your post, but to say that you followed Nutrisystem "to a tee" this week, then add "I went over my diet two days by less than 100 calories" sounds contradictory. Perhaps the add-ins are the problem?.
If you post your complete intake for those days and/or talk to an Nutrisystem counselor, I'm sure you'll get some more good input and support..
I think you are looking at this as a "diet magic fix", it needs to be a lifestyle change for good. SO just because you were to a tee for a week doesn't mean the scale has to go down especially since you were not good the day before. Keep following what your meal planner says, do it 100% and thats it. Don't try to outsmart it. Its a great program. GL..
You can have week to week variation from water. Some weeks can be bigger or smaller..
The week when you were misbehaving could still be impacting the next week. Don't complain about loss rate, when you are a CHEATER!.
And there is no magic "working". A diet is a diet. Constrain calories and you lose weight. DUH! It is just thermodynamics...
Thanks for the advice. I'm got on the scale again today (I usually just weigh on Saturdays) and I had dropped 1.4 pound from yesterday. That leaves me 7 pounds to go. I will not panic next time the scale doesn't reflect my hard work immediately as I know it will catch up eventually..
