First of all Why does my hair fall out every time I go on a Dukan Diet? Hoping for any response. My 2nd question... I have one more container of the black bean tortilla soup and was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to make it more appetizing. The flavor is....ok I guess. But the truth is it just doesn't do it for methat, and the black tar-like color is just not appealing. Help please?? =)..

Good question... I dunno what is the right answer. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I got an answer. You should email the people at Dukan Diet as they probably could give you an answer..

I did not like it at first but then half way through I decided to add a couple of spoonfuls of mango peach salsa and it made a delicious difference. I have since tried a bean and corn salsa that I got at Sam's club that was pretty good but ran out of the soup before I got into the Picante sauce or the pico de gallo. Just needs some jazzing up to make a good soup I guess ..

Good luck Sylvia..

Thanks for the tip! I was also wondering if anyone had ideas on how to make this less soupy. Not a big soup person, but will eat if must...

Boy, that sounds good! I love mango salsa, but it never occurred to me to try it with this!.

I put in the correct amount of water, maybe a fraction less, and let it sit for about half an hour. Then I add in my protein of 1/4 cup FF shredded cheese, mix it up and nuke it for about 25 seconds. I usually add in chopped onions as well. But with the cheese mixed in, it thickens it up even more and tastes like refried beans to me! I love it!!!..

If you want it less "soupy" use it as a base for chili. Toss in some Yves Veggie Ground or some cooked ground beef. You'd get your lunch protein that way...

I just had this today & it was so good... I made it according to directions then added 1/2 cup drained petite cut diced tomatoes & 1 oz cubed Light Velveeta cheese (I think this is a little over on the stats but I use it once in awhile when I'm not having a fat). Microwave so it's good & hot and the cheese is melted. I also added a cut up turkey sausage that I had leftover from breakfast & it was incredible...

I am actually going to have this today - I will just make with less water and let sit for about 20 mins. Pour over salad greens - add: cucumbers , little bit of FF Chedder Cheese , FF Sour Cream , Salsa , & Jalapenos - Very Filling! If you wanted to use your snack from later add crunched up Nacho Crisps to it. YUM!!!!..

I love adding lemon juice in it. it's almost like a sweet and sour soup. Weird but I like it..

Try it!..

I put some FF cheddar cheese in it and a small tiny bit of salsa to give it a bit of a zip...
