First question I have is Who likes the new Nutrisystem Commercial? Hoping for any answer or 2. My other question... Hello everyone, I am brand new the boards. I've been reading everyone's posts and most have been really inspirational. So I guess first a little background on myself. I just turned 30 a couple of weeks ago and had to take a really hard look at myself.

This monday I tipped the scale at 235! 55lbs in a year and a half! While I was in we did mandatory physical training every day, so I think that my body got used to it.

My job is IT so my whole lifestyle has become sedentary. I work on computers all day, come home and usually play on the computer or watch tv..

This week I started out with Nutrisystem on Monday. I have been following the diet very strictly. I am actually surprised by how good most of the food is! In the army we had the same kind of food, called MRE's, but they were terrible! I can't wait to see what my first week weigh in comes in at, but this morning I am allready down to 229.6! I know that this is not typical and it will slow down, which I am cool with, but being under 230 that fast is awesome!.

As far as fitness goes, there is a run that a bunch of people from the place that I work for coming up in 9 weeks, so I plan on getting back to running and entering the race with my coworkers..

Sorry for the amount of writing, but it just feels good to put it down in words. This way I can look at my goals and know that other people are looking at them too. I heard on the news that it is much easier to stick to something when you share with other people. Reading many of your stories here has been really inspirational..

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer to your question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I bump into an answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably can help you..

Want to add in a little extra protein since you more than likely built up a bit of muscle in the military. Worked wonders for me .... kept the meat, lost the fat..

I continued to lift on the program but was losing too fast and felt like I was getting skinny. Had to cut out cardio completely after the first few weeks...

Well, I made it through the first week! 6.4 lbs lost! It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, but I still have problems with wanting to eat. I'm not hungry but something in my head (or belly) just craves food. I've also started working out. I've been doing a mixture of cardio and light weight high rep dumbell complexes that a friend of mine who knows workouts pretty well suggested. Also, as a personal motivator, I signed up for the Nike + challenge on this site in the running forums. Thanks all for the moral support so far!..

There's only one way:.

Grip it tightly, bite off both ends, and finish it off with forceful mastication..

I'm getting pretty good at it..

My girlfriend wanted a cucumber in the middle of the night once, so I went to the grocery store and grabbed one, and went to the check-out with just a cucumber. No cart, just plopped it on the treadmill thing. I had bed head and I'm sure I looked like hell. I always wondered if the check out girl thought it was for me...

We cashiers have seen much worse, trust me. Although, it is hard to not smirk when you say 'have an good night' to those who have condoms on their order...
