My question is Where can I purchase the Nutrisystem hungry monster doll/stuffed animal? Thanks in advance for any response. Second question of mine... I just tried the turkey hot dogs yesterday for lunch and really didn't like them. Any suggestions for how to make them better so I don't have to throw out the other 2?..

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer to your question. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I discover an useful answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could assist you..

I am probably really twisted, but the turkey dogs are one of my absolute favs! I follow the directions on heating these in the microwave but then I slit them lengthwise, stuff with fat free cheddar cheese, and spicy mustard - omg! I may be having that for dinner tonight....

Oh honey - fat free cheese makes everything taste better : )..

We add sugar free (with splenda) relish or pickles too - that perks up the taste a little. And I agree - throw some cheese on there..

And by the way, Ballpark makes good turkey or all beef FF dogs that are quite good - 40 or 50 calories, respectively...

You can slice them and put them on the Nutrisystem pizza, along with veggies of your choice. You can also mix them in with the Santa Fe Beans & Rice or the Navy Bean Soup...

And with Ball Park and Hebrew National you can have 2 dogs for 1 Nutrisystem turkey dog! Must have relish..whats a dog without relish?..

Thanks for all the suggestions! I did put FF cheese and spicy brown mustard on it and that's probably the only way I got it down. LOL But maybe I should try a different FF cheese! I don't normally like hot dogs, but I told myself I should try most everything at least once so I don't limit my menu too much. After this pack though, I think I'll just stay away from hot dogs of any kind!.

At least it wasn't so bad I threw it away after 2 bites like I did the balsamic turkey! And I like most everything else I've tried. Guess the "dogs" just aren't for me...

You are a lot braver than I am - at least you.

Tried.

The balsamic turkey!..

I like the hot dogs for dinner. I chop lettuce and tomato pretty fine along with some onion and I have a salad. Split the hot dog and melt that cheese on it. I enjoy a low cal dinner! It's great if you know ahead of time that you're going to spend more calories in the evening or you already used too much at lunch. (Actually, I learned this from Weight Watchers a long time ago.)..

Try frying them in a pan with a little Pam spray instead of microwaving or boiling. Much better flavor!..

OK, I tried them again today. I put it in the toaster oven at 350 for 10 min. Then I dressed it like the burger I had last night (yum!!!!). I put a little spicy brown mustard with mushrooms and red onions (lightly sauteed with Pam) and reduced fat provolone. It wasn't near as good as the burger, but what an improvement over last time!.

Thanks for the help!.

P.S. Teb3316 - I love your avatar artwork!..

One of my favorite foods. It's interesting how we all have so many different tastes. I absolutely hate the pot roasts!..

I just cut lengthwise in thirds, and brown them in the skillet first. Put them in a slice of whole wheat bread with a condiment of your liking and tastes like any other hot dog, only a bit smaller...

How many calories in Ball Park? Do you know right off hand?..

Good evening everyone!! Ok, after reading this thread last night, I decided I had to try the turkey dogs and see for myself, so I tried them for lunch today. First, I cut them lengthwise, put them in a pan with cooking spray, then I put them in the toaster oven with a little bit of reduced fat cheese until the cheese melted. I had them with mustard and ketchup just that way, without any bread or anything else and I loved them!! I will definitely order them again. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the suggestions, I know they helped make the dogs taste great!!! Have a great night, Sheila..

I get the ones from the store. I finally found fat free ones with 45 calories! Much cheaper than NS!..

The dogs are one of the few things I eat, I put two pickle slices(10 cal total) on them or just the cheese like everyone says same way I fix the salt water burgers..
