Good question... I dunno what is the answer to your question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I find an good answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could assist you..
They don't really taste like chicken. They're sort of squishy and salty. I cut it in strips and put it on pita bread...
I like it and usually order several. I make fajitas, cut it up and put it on a salad, eat it on a light wheat english muffin, etc. These chicken breast filets are now available from Starkist in a foil packet in the grocery store. It couldn't be very much different..
Thanks for your input! Sounds a little iffy but I'll try one! It could be a new favorite LOL.
Besides in a sandwich on a whole wheat bun with lettuce and tomato, I cut the chicken patty in strips, saute it with red bell pepper and wrap it in a whole wheat tortilla. Yummm.

I love the chicken patty now that I make it this way and then put it in a whole wheat wrap.
Sautee in a non stick pan with a tiny bit of olive oil some chopped garlic, mrs dash seasoning cut up peppers (in strips) some onion and a little bit of diced tomatoes. cook till tender. then I cut the ck patty in thin strips and mix it in till heatedi add that to a whole wheat wrap with a huge salad on the side and it's filling and the chicken is tasty this way to me..
I had my first one last night. It did not taste like chicken. I am not sure just what it tasted like, but the fact that I had a bun and lettuce and tomato...did it for me. I just chewed and swallowed..
I have it on a toasted bun with honey mustard, pickles, lettuc..
That way, I kinda like it..
I've been looking for either low calorie english muffins or hamburg buns, but can't seem to find them. What brand should I be looking for?..
I have found Thomas English Muffins "light" for 100 calories.
Also, I use Natures Own Light Wheat bread....40 cals per slice. I find it at Walmart, Lowes Foods, Food Lion...not sure what you have in your area..

I've been noticing lately that I can find more low calorie things with store brands..
I found Shoprite (don't know if you have that store by you) brand low calorie hot dog/hamburger rolls. Even the store brand SF Jello and pancake mix is lower in calories than premium brands..
WW makes english muffins but they cost more and have more calories than Thomas English Muffins...
Thanks for the information on Thomas English Muffins...they aren't sold in my area so I'll first look at store brands and see if they can compare to Thomas lite muffins. If not I'll have to order some I guess...
I don't get the chicken patty and instead get something I wouldn't cook on my own, like the lemon chicken when they have it, or some of the other stuff that I wouldn't take the time to make a single serving, like lasagna..
Tyson has a chicken patty that is 130 calories, 17 grams of protein, compared to Nutrisystem 170 calories and I think 27 grams of protein. So I can make fajitas and add some cheese or do something else and just add some protein to bring up the protein level. Anyway, the Tyson tastes better and is cheaper...
Hey I can go for tastes better and cheaper...think I'll try Tysons chicken patties..
I just use my own chicken and pound it until it is the right thickness, weigh out my amount and cut it in a round shape to look like a pattie and use the rest for other things. I can add lemon pepper to it or whatever I want..
My mom loves the chicken patty. Me, I prefer the hamburger patty. She sometimes will put it on a bun with miracle whip and lettuce. Her usual recipe is to put a tablespoon of BBQ sauce on it and bake it in the oven. It really gets her over her craving for BBQ...
This recipe was in the Nutrisystem newsletter - I tried it and it was soooo yummy. Gonna make this again!.
Buffalo Chicken Wrap.
This recipe is proof that you can have all the great flavor of your favorite chicken wings and still be true to your meal plan. It comes from two sources - NutriSystem members Nume07 and GolferMom - and is the perfect dinner any time, but especially when those wings cravings hit!.
Counts as dinner entree + 1 fat serving + free salad vegetables.
