I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer to your question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I bump into an good answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could give you help..

Thanks bea, did PM Lisa. Now I think I should have waited until the end of the challenge - maybe next time. Yes, I think another challenge is a good thing; and congrats on your terrific loss! I think from V-day to Easter, which is the end of April and about 2 1/2 months is a good time span. Never hurts to be mindful of what we are doing..

Sounds as if you had a lot of fun with your visit and I'm glad. It's wonderful to connect with old friends. I have to do that with email and the phone but always am glad of it as I think how it was not too long ago when if you left your family or area that was it-you never got the chance to come back and letters took months to travel..

I've stayed busy, which helps me a lot in the eating department, and have done a lot in reorganizing my closets in my guest room and work room. Still more to do and it looks like a tornado went through my work room but it's great to clear out. I have put my egg shells for my pysanky in boxes and bins on the top shelf of that closet so I don't need the fiber cartons to store them in and found I had about 50 empty ones in boxes in there. so I was able to take them all out and send them with Jerry to his boss who raises chickens. Took 2 big boxes out of the equation and garnered a big space to fill up with other stuff!.

I've put up two prints I made last week of the gorilla lino cut I was doing. Please take a look in my album and tell me what you think. I did violet and turquoise ones this week but haven't loaded the photos yet. I am pleased with them and my progress in getting the hang of the process, especially inking the block. My back can only stand 2 prints with hand burnishing so I am looking into building a bottle jack press so I can do more with much less effort. A printmaker has posted a pdf with detailed directions and it is something I can handle.

I just can't see $ for that when there is another option that would work for me just as well..

Watched Gaslight last night-it's been a while-and boy, what a great movie it still is to see..

Hang in ladies-spring is just around the corner (or the snow drift for some of you)..

Thanks bea. That's me jack of all trades, master of none but some I'm not too bad at..

Thanks for the link - I was missing in action with lots of accounting things at work and then feeling beat once I got home. I'm still in the no-loss-yet category; but - I'm going to keep at this..

Bea - great loss. Barb/Bea - I'm up for another challenge even if it seems I can't make it happen.

..

Hope the rest of this week is calmer - maybe then I'll get back on the treadmill...

Thanks, Bea. will enter my hopeful loss for the challenge. It's about 10 weeks now so will post accordingly. And thanks for the encouragement. I have made it one full day back to my 100% by keeping busy and doing my huge salad in the afternoon. So, another day, another challenge to stay 100 %.

It's to be worn not tucked in and it actually looks good for a change. This is encouraging as my big butt is the fitting problem I have with clothes..

Have been having a lot of rain but supposed to be sunny today-a nice change. now to hope for some decent, non-wet weather before the summer smashes down on us so we can clean up the yard! It is so neglected. Next week we won't be able to work outside so maybe this Sunday will cooperate. In the distant past, when temps were more normal, we hit the mid to high 80's by the second week in March and all hopes for a decent time working outdoors were over; so one can only hope..

I am still organizing and actually having a lot of fun. And finding things I forgot I 'lost'. Need to get this done so I can do some art work. I have a lot tumbling around in the old brain just itching to get started..

Sometimes I'll look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still not know what time it is..

Even under ideal conditions people have trouble locating their car keys in a pocket, finding their cell phone, and Pinning the Tail on the Donkey - but I'd bet everyone can find and push the snooze button from 3 feet away, in about 1.7 seconds, eyes closed, first time, every time..

Guess I'm stuck with the loss I already posted. No more this week but am holding my own so that's good. Put me down for 5 for Easter..

Bea/Barb/Diane/Lisa - so glad we are together in this no matter where it takes us. It keeps us trying and that is what counts..

I started with a flare last weekend and had to go on the prednisone pack - just took last pill today. As you guys know prednisone is a double edge sword. Helps take down the inflamation but also does a job on mood, weight and appetite. Me thinks this weather does not help me at all..

Missed last 3 Yoga sessions. This flare was more intense in the shoulders, elbows, and wrists and I didn't want to push it where I need to travel this week. I miss the exercise for sure..

This Thurs I fly to Amsterdam with grandaughter to see our son. Will be gone a week but should get in lots of walking which won't be bad. Weather over there is in the low 40's, a heat wave..

Did not get much done this week and today hubby and I are going to try and vacuum and dust the place before I go. I don't dare use the vacuum right now so he is going to do it for me..

Barb - medical costs are getting so out of control. When SIL had heart problems last year they had to pay $4500 out of pocket and they both work full time and have what is considered good insurance coverage thru their employer..

I can't imagine what it would be like if we had to go to the same plan they have. Right now our ex-employer offers a senior plan which is on a co-pay basis not an 80/20 split. Still the co-pays are not small and the co pay for drugs (we take many between hubbys heart/diabetis and my RA) are hefty..

When he orders his drugs every 3 months it is over $400 in co-pay costs. Mine are less..

Well all for now. Barb you can come up and visit anytime. I will feed you and take you all around NE if you will just organize my stuff for me. I open the closet, recognize something needs to be done and then close the door..

Bea - if the snow melts we are going to need a boat up here. But I did get us tickets to the Boston Flower Show in March. I need a dose of spring..

See you guys..

Anne..

Barb - the thread title reads Reload this page..... It makes it hard to find out on the thread listing. Is this somethingNutrisystemcan help us with??..

Oh Ladies - you're all such encouragers. Thank you - and Barb as outrageous as it sounds I'm going to try for 10 pounds off by Easter. I was going to set my goal lower but I'm hoping this goal will get me moving more..

Anne - prednisone is NO FUN..

Bea - you say the nicest things..

I'm going to work at checking in here more often. I've logged my food so far today (I had gotten away from that). I also have no "plans" for this evening so I should make one now - go home, pop in a Eureka, and walk on the treadmill. There - I've stated my plan. Feel free to quiz me as to whether I did it..

Here's another plan - I'm going to be 50 this year in May (sounds so strange to say that). I would really like to be below 139 by that point. I do not think it's realistic to be at my goal weight by then, but here's to getting down in the 130's..

Take care ladies - I'm sure Spring is out there somewhere...

Checked back quickly to see if anyone had signed on..

Diana - congrads on being almost at the 50 mark. It is a wonderful age. You have lived long enough to "know a few things" and have a good shot at another 50 to come. I think you should be able to make your goal by your birthday. Something you want anyway and now you have the motivator..

Exercise is where I fall down. I do the Yoga three time per week but don't get a lot of cardio. I need to walk, don't really want another treadmill cause I know I won't use it and it is a space investment in a condo. Hopefully I will make a pact to walk during the good months here and then think about how to get the cardio next winter..

Hope all is well with Lisa, Barb and Bea..

Anne..

Just a quick note - I fell across our Allison on FB. She looks great, think she said she had bought size 8 jeans. Looks like she is still doing her extreme exercise along with something called Shakeology. She was flying back tonight from a work trip so maybe she got that new job she was working on. It's nice to know she is OK and doing good. With so many sisters we don't know what happened..

Anne..

Anne - I forgot to mention that Allison had found me on FB as well - and I agree - it's sounds like she is doing well and using her FB page to encourage others in their fitness quests. Have you tried a Leslie Sansone walking DVD? I think the "walk your belly flat" is the best. You wouldn't need a lot of space for it and you could determine your level of impact and length, i.e. 1 mile, 2 miles, 3 miles etc..

Like I said - I'm trying to check in here more and record water, food, etc. So far so good today and I'm thinking positive about the evening munchies (salad, fruit, veggies)..

O yea - Barb - Kudos on 100%. I'm shooting for that today as well..

OK - back to work for me...

Morning Diana/Bea.

Thanks for suggestion on tape. However I am on the 2nd floor of the condo and not sure my downstairs neighbor would appreicate me doing anything too jarring upstairs. One of the downers of condo living..

I know I have a guy with an exercise bike over me and I'm glad he only uses it during the day. He brings in his regular bike and fixes it during the winter. Bea - good suggestion. I will put something out here for each week once I get back..

Anne-will start a new thread for the duration of the Easter Challenge. that reload page thing was a surprise and I am not bothering to contact a mod. will just start a new thread now. I know the V-day challenge is 'til Monday but I am thinking of it now and so will do it now..

I pick one day to NOT check in all day long and look at the posts! this is great as it helps me tremendously. No it was not a 100% day. I made the wrong choices although, if it makes any sense, I did make good wrong choices. Jerry worked so late and then I made him a little pizza and it smelled so good it made me nuts. So I made up anNutrisystempizza, plain like out of the pack and ate that on top of my Mushroom Risotto I had for dinner. That's all but still-double dinner? I was stupid but I did it any way.

I have decided to give up Splenda, especially in my tea-which I drink all day long. My nutra toots are like descending death and I want that to stop. Already I notice a difference. I drink really weak tea, Lipton, so it's not bad and probably better in the long run not to sweeten. I did find a better way, at least easier for me, to make my tea.

Just right and it keeps hot for 2 hours before I have to reset it. worked like a charm for 2 days now so that will be great. Until Jerry is home and then he has a pot or two of coffee with his paper; he loves his coffee and paper but I cannot stand any coffee so I will go back to the hotshot for hot water on those days..

Anne-I would love to help you organize! it is so much easier for someone else because that is what you do-just organize, not have to look at everything and make all those decisions. Just put it in place. I am almost done with my closet in the egg/work/studio room and it really is so nice. I may get to actually start working on some art again-or sewing or finally make that cover for my kindle-what started the whole thing in the first place..

The next area is the closet in Jerry's office. The 4th bedroom is our office/library and I put extra shelves down the whole of the closet as we will never need the hanging space. But, nearly all of the boxes of paper 'stuff' is just shoved in on the shelves and needs sorting and organizing badly. Just one of those things that is mostly out of sight out of mind. Probably not so much to throw out as to get it in clear tubs and labeled so we can see what is what. A box full of everything from my desk drawers when we moved is no good when you can't root through it.

All in good time..

As for medical bills and Rx. we are there too. About $200 a month at least. My poor Aunt on SS is at about $3800 a year. Just have to bear up and stick with it. We thought we had reached our limit on out of pocket but guess not for the hospital; and they keep changing the plans every year..

Just did taxes so that shock is behind us now..

Diana-good for you for checking in and logging food. That helps me more than anything..

Glad to hear about Allison. Saw the photos on her page-wow..

Lisa-you are doing so good; we are all proud of you. Busy life style you have but seem to handle it well. photos of the kids are always welcome..

I'm here! I'm here! Sorry it took me so long to make my way over to the new thread. I tried so hard to get on the boards last week to see how everyone was doing, but had a tough time. Work was super busy so I couldn't sneak on, and then after work I didn't even look at my home computer since my eyes were so shot looking at at a computer screen all day without a break..

Ryan turned 6 months on the 9th. I went through a little self-pity party last week because after I had Ryan, I had made a goal to be back to 120 by his six month birthday and I didn't get there. However, the next day I woke up with a brand new attitude. I had gained 72 pounds in my pregnancy and I thought to myself that being able to say I had 13 pounds left to go from gaining 72 is not so bad!.

I am ending this challenge at 133.0 for a loss of 1.4 for the week (yay!). I didn't make my goal but I'm happy that I am at least continuing to lose. I did a lot different this week and it seems to be working so I'm just going to stick with that until it slows down and I have to change things up yet again..

I had to look up when Easter was so I could set a goal for the new challenge. It's at the end of April this year!!! That is so late! I am going to set my goal for 120-THE BIG GOAL (13 lbs). I would be happy anywhere between 120-125 but I really want to push myself to get to maintenance before May so hopefully this challenge will get me there!.

Everyone did so great this challenge. Keep up the good work and have a wonderful Valentine's Day!..
