Got a question, hope someone can answer... Where can I find a *multi-domain* EV-Verisign SSL certificate? Thanks in advance for any answer. Second question of mine... Hi,.

I'm getting tired of "funny" customers that allways shop on my Verisign site but NEVER pay for the products! So, I have to review my stock every time....

Someone knows a way to block customers to login or checkout (individually)?.

The BAN IP is not suitable for me....

I'm using osCommerce v2.2 RC2....

Thanx!..

Good question... I dunno what is the answer to your question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I find an answer. You should email the people at Verisign as they probably can answer it..

Well G,.

If I change a character in their password, the user just request a new password to osCommerce and he can login again....

Approve account contribution? Where can I get it?.

Thx!.

I made such code, that is very easy to use and install..

If I can find time tomorrow, I will package it up and contribute it..

Depends how many "annoyances you have but the following would work..

1) create a new file in shop root called annoying_customers.php containing ...

(.. where 27,59,132 are the customer ids of the annoying customers).

<?php.

$annoying_customers = array('27','59','132');.

?>.

2) Open up catalog/login.php.

Find ...

} else {.

$check_customer = tep_db_fetch_array($check_customer_query);.

Change to ...

} else {.

$check_customer = tep_db_fetch_array($check_customer_query);.

If( file_exists('annoying_customers.php') ){.

Include_once('annoying_customers.php');.

}.

If( in_array($check_customer['customers_id'], $annoying_customers) ){.

$error = true;.

}.

That should do it.

Obviously whenever you want to add a new annoying customer just add their id to the array..

Untested so ensure you test before leaving it active on a live site..

A better version of mine is ...

1) create a new file in shop root called annoying_customers.php containing ...

(.. where 27,59,132 are the customer ids of the annoying customers).

<?php.

$annoying_customers = array('27','59','132');.

?>.

2) Open up catalog/login.php.

Find ...

// Check that password is good.

If (!tep_validate_password($password, $check_customer['customers_password'])) {.

$error = true;.

} else {.

Change to ...

If( file_exists('annoying_customers.php') ){.

Include_once('annoying_customers.php');.

}.

// Check that password is good.

If (!tep_validate_password($password, $check_customer['customers_password'])) {.

$error = true;.

} elseif( is_array($annoying_customers) && in_array($check_customer['customers_id'], $annoying_customers) ){.

$error = true;.

} else {..

Must approve account seems like a possible contribution or just go and change a character in their password. That should stop them ,confuse them no end, not to mention annoy them..
