My 1st question is: Where can I buy just the paper points tracker from Nutrisystem? Thanks for any response. My 2nd question... Starting my sixth week, and I'm down 22 pounds. Feeling pretty good. Pants are getting loose as I push on through my belt notches..
But it happened. I only lost 1 pound this week, which is a big change from the quick weight loss during the first month. But that's okay. It's been a tough week. And I knew there would be some sluggish spots on this adventure. Had to happen eventually..
I had to do some traveling this week, and that meant eating out for a couple of days at a time. I did my best to be careful, choosing a few Nutrisystem meals whenever possible. But the lack of access to a microwave, boiling water, etc. really put a crimp in my routine. Salads became my go-to off the menu... so much so that by the end of the week I was totally SICK of salads.
One thing is certain: It's.
To eat healthy on the road. Oh, it's doable alright. But it takes a lot of planning and preparation, as well as careful scrutiny to find something acceptable among all the abundance of junk on the menus. Then there's the SMELL! I had one meal at a place that specializes in these awesome looking calzones. (No, I didn't pick the restaurant, but wanted to be a good guest.) So there I sat with my very boring salad and low-fat ranch dressing on the side while everyone else around me enjoyed these crusty, cheesy bundles of awesomeness. The whole place was filled with the scent of baking bread and oregano.
Be strong." Not fun, but I made it through it..
Back to the regular program this week, and I never thought I'd be relieved to see those little pop-top cans of mediocre pastas, styrofoam cups of freeze-dried beans, and cardboard boxes of microwaveable entrees.....
Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I find an decent answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably can answer it..
Tiptoeing in to let you in on a secret for salad dressings on the go -.
They have a wide variety of low fat and fat free dressing packets that you can purchase individually (or some multi-packs). Great for those times when a restaurant's only fat free choice is something I don't like - if there's even a choice..
Also, depending on the salad - THEY may have been an issue. Sometimes there's more calories in a salad than a burger. Just something to think about..
Good job on striving to stay on plan in a difficult situation!.
Backing out of the Menz Room now.....
Sig removed to comply with Menz Rulez..
Thanks for that website.......really interesting and probably will order from them...
+1 for the website link. I have vacation travel coming up and wondering on what to do for dressing...
I ordered the Sampler Package of 13 different toppings today, just to find which ones I would keep going with..
Those should work fine in the RV on trips, etc..
Also, congrat's "H" man for making you goal, WTG...
