I don't have a lot to lose, but I have heard other people say they go "bear to bear". I think that is a great idea!..

If you listen to the Biggest Losers and other weight loss counselors, they also suggest having mini goals so as not to get overwhelmed by a large number...

Deb, I love mini goalsgives some quick feedback and feeling of success. If you want to, set your mini goal and decide on something as a reward to yourselfnon food of course! Perhaps a pedicure, a movie, a piece of clothing or something else that can help reinforce your progress. I never spent a lot of money but I did try to do something to celebrate small losses...
I go with mini goals and have been doing a ticker for each 10 pounds. But the best thing for me is to join a challenge to lose so much in so many weeks, along with doing a ticker to track it...
I have lost my weight in steps. In the beginning I didn't realize I was setting mini-goals, but I was. My first time onNutrisystemmy goal was 133, which I reached and maintained for a couple of years. Last year I decided to lower my goal to under 130, which I reached and have maintained. Now I am back for round three, almost a year later, with a goal of getting below 120..
Maybe that just makes me indecisive!..
I had one goal and one goal only: Stay 100% every day. The rest just took care of itself...
I have just one goal weight..
But this week I hit 30 lbs lost more than halfway so I got a pedicure.
Ill treat my self when I reach my main goal. it keeps me focused on making it.
But I LOVE the bears, those are motivation too when I get one!..

I just finished cleaning off the shelf where I have my bears (thanks to this thread!). I now have my present 4 on the top shelf, leaving room for 4 more on the middle shelf, and 4 more on the bottom shelf. I'll have to squeeze my goal bear in somewhere too!..

My main goal was from bear to bear, I'd update my signature with each bear I earned, but I also set goals between bears as well, like to be at 300 or 250 or 200. There is always something to celebrate on the program..
