Quick question: Whats the best Dukan Diet for a basketball player? Looking forward for any response. 2nd question I got is.. I have been on this program since June 2008. I didn't know I could eat so much salad. I have a hard time thinking outside the box so I would appreciate any suggestions for the lunch and dinner salads..

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I got an decent answer. You should email the people at Dukan Diet as they probably could give you an answer..

I haven't eaten a salad since the temperature dropped below 65 degrees, which was a while back here is South Dakota..

I just eat an extra serving of veggies...

I'm out of salad mix and it's sleeting/snowing here, so today I just had a serving of raw baby carrots and 1T of lowfat ranch dressing (counted toward fat serving) instead of a salad...

I have steamed broccoli for lunch, every day, I never have salad. Just eat a legal vegetable and don't sweat it...

Great job making it this long without the salad blues! I made it about two months. Now I sub in a fruit or veggie when I can't stand the thought of a piece of wet lettuce in my mouth. I'm sure I haven't been legal every time, but it's either a sneaky fruit or French fries. :-)..

Do you like fresh spinach? I have started eating spinach salads everyday instead of lettuce. Right now, it is doing the trick for me. I also found a salad dressing that I really like...Maple Grove's Wasabi Dijon....very yummy. It does have 11g of sugar, though, but it is ff and has 35 cal./2 Tbsp. I asked a Dukan Diet counselor if that was OK, and she said it was not enough to worry about. So, everyday, here's my salad: spinach, cucumbers (the little Kirby ones, which are awesome), radishes, 1 tbsp.

The taste is really good, and I like the texture of the spinach, because it doesn't seem to wilt as quickly. And you can buy it in one of those big plastic boxes, and it seems to stay good forever...

Where do you get the Wasbi Dijon? If you dont mind me asking....

Seems the selection of fat free dressings are pretty slim in my neck of the woods..

Is the store a national chain? Or on-line? Or ..?..

My solution has always been to make a big container of gazpacho. YUM!..

I too love the Maple Grove's Wasabi Dijon. I found it at Publix...

Kitty, I found it at my local Price-Chopper store. I live in the Midwest. Hope you can find it...

I have been on the plan a little over 2 weeks and have had salad a handful of times. Instead I have a smallish serving of stir-fry veggies..

So far so good!! Down 9 pounds at my 2 week weigh in...

Here is another alternative: Someone online here suggested sauteing cole slaw mix with garlic and spray it a few times while cooking w/the cooking spray..then add a little low salt soy sauce...I like it crispyso it doesnt take long..................thanks for the spinach salad idea...just printed that to try!..

How about putting new and unusual thing in your salad. Like inserting part of the rest of the meal or one of the other items in the menu. When it says, "fat" and nuts count, I chop them up and add them to the salad as a for-instance...

What is your gazpacho recipe? I'd like to try it, if you don't mind sharing?.

What does the FF mayo count as and how much can you have?..

I like to make soup with V8, canned diced tomatos, beef broth and frozen cooked veggies..

I must be the weird one here. I went from eating no salads ever to eating a big one for lunch everyday for almost a year soon. I love it and look forward to it everyday. Wendy..

I went to the store and bought literally 7 different salad dressings. Some are sweeter and fruity (strawberry balsamic by Vermont Farms is the best). Others are more traditional (french, italian, balsamic, vidalia onion). I have found that this at least switches up the taste. I love when my dressing makes my salad taste like dessert!! (RASPBERRY PECAN!!)..
