Got a question, hope someone can answer... Whats my server ,host name Verisign SSL, smpt. pop3, imap, http.? Looking forward for any comment. Second question.. Hi Gang!.

I've been working on this one for 2 days and can't seem to find anything on this one and I can't figure it out. I hope you all can help because I'm loosing my mind.. and my hair!!.

My client wants his customers to call for pricing on his materials available, so he doesn't want a price to show up. Unfortunately, the price of $0.00 shows up everywhere..

So my questions is... can you remove/disable the price so it doesn't show up anywhere?..

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I discover an decent answer. You should email the people at Verisign as they probably could assist you..

I use.

This contribution.

, the one date Nov 2006 by Mike the Monk. You'll still have to edit a file here and there, but this will take care of most of the 0.00 price showing...

ZELF... This got me oh so close! Except it put the price as a #1. So it read, price: 1. I tried setting the quantity = 0, but it still showed a #1..

Check out the post above your last post. Maybe this will do it for you..

Function display_price($products_price, $products_tax, $quantity = 1) {.

If ($products_price > 0.01){ //for change price by 'contact'.

Return $this->format(tep_add_tax($products_price, $products_tax) * $quantity);.

}else{.

Return 'Contact us';.

}.

}..

When I entered the code above, I got this error:.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ';', expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /home/hillz08/public_html/includes/classes/currencies.php on line 79..

Check all of your files that you're using where prices show, you may find the 0.00 still showing here & there but you can mod the code in the add on to work for all of them...

You may be able to pull this off by editing the display_price() method in /catalog/includes/classes/currencies.php and changing it to:.

Function display_price($products_price, $products_tax, $quantity = 1) {.

//return $this->format(tep_add_tax($products_price, $products_tax) * $quantity);.

Return true;.

}.

I don't know that everytime a price is displayed display_price() is called. This should be a start though...
