I'm having a salad for lunch: spring greens, tomatoes, 3 oz grilled chicken, and 2 delicious amazing ounces of feta. I always feel like I'm cheating when I have cheese!.

Homemade tomato cabbage soup. 99% fat free turkey breast and roasted green beans...

Grilled chicken breast with "sauteed" mushroom and zucchini ribbons mixed with Laughing Cow Garlic Herb cheese. YUM!..

I haven't decided...maybe some eggs with low-fat cheese and sauteed (in Pam) veggies, or a taco salad...

Tonight I"m making spicey talapia and spinach from the L & G cook book. It looks yummy...

Well it is just a throw together.

Chunks of cabbage, peppers, celery,green beans and/or any veggies you want. I saut my veggies in butter buds (the powder you add 1/2 cup water too). Then I throw in a 28 can of tomato sauce and then a can of water. Add garlic, onion powder, red pepper flakes, parsley, bay leaf and let simmer several hours. I like things spicy so I add hot sauce too. It makes a huge pot so I don't really "count" condiments..

Grilled chicken breast, 1 cup steamed broccoli and a 1 cup spinach salad using 1 tsp Olive Oil, salt and pepper as my dressing.....

Last night I made minced chicken lettuce wraps for two (husband is on Medifast too).

They were amazingly good! I impressed myself and it was very filling, not to mention way better than PF Changs' version..

2 chicken breast finely diced.

Grated fresh ginger.

Minced garlic.

1 tsp hoisin sauce.

1 tsp low sodium soy sauce.

1/2 tsp canola oil.

Fresh ground black pepper.

Mix together and marinate at least half an hour.

1/2 cup diced celery.

1/4 cup dice red bell pepper.

1/4 cup diced white mushrooms.

Saute in Pam with a splash of low sodium chicken broth.

Sear chicken in Pam sprayed non-stick skillet, then add in veggies (I did them in a separate pan and mixed them).

We used Bibb/Boston lettuce to wrap with...

Tonight will be oven "fried" cod (6 oz cod dipped in egg white and bread crumbs (when on 5&1 I used parm puffs crushed, I'm in maintenance now) and turnip "chips" for an OP fish and chips dinner. Served with malt vinegar wrapped in newspaper like they do it in the UK...

Love these ideas! Have been needing some L&G ideas... I am having taco salad with greens, scallions, ground beef, taco seasoning, salsa, and I TB greek FF yogurt; don't know if the greek yogurt is OP? Also, didn't know cheese was OP!!..

My daughter is making Chicken and brocolli in mustard sauce with a sprinkle of wasabi powder...we like it hot too. No cooking for me tonight!!!..

Ianthe, generally FF anything is not OP on Medifast (except the Walden Farms stuff). When they take out all the fat they put in too many carbs..

The allowable cheeses are listed on the "Meatless Options" and "Condiments" guides. They're available at Success Tools: Eat Right...

Oh, you'll love it! This diet is so much easier when you know what you can and can't eat! Just print out all the PDFs and carry them with you for a while. You want the ones for Lean, Green, Meatless, Condiments, and Healthy Snacks...
