Good morning! I am taking my kids to a movie this afternoon, and am wondering if anyone has ideas of what to take for a snack/treat for me? I REALLY miss the old Chewy Fudge Bars that Nutrisystem used to offer as a milk alternative. Those were the absolute best movie treats - just like a tootsie roll and yet you still have your dessert for later. That was my old stand-by.

Thanks so much for any ideas you have!.

Your question was: What to eat during a movie while on Nutrisystem?.

Depending on what time the movie is, you could eat your lunch "add ins" at regular lunch time & then take a lunch bar with you as a "snack" at the movie.

I take a dessert: walnut choc chip cookies, Nutrisystem "snickers bar", Nutrisystem "m&m's" and I still buy a $5 diet soda for the 'movie experience' !..

I usually timed it so I could have my lunch bar at the movie. Or tucked a little bag of air-popped popcorn into my purse (one cup is a "free" food)...

I'll bring either honey mustard pretzel sticks or the nacho crisps, a serving of raisins, and an couple fat free hot dogs from my saved protein, and that can usually last me through two movies with occasional sips from an movie theater diet soda...

Years ago, I got out of the habit of eating at a movie, totally..

It really doesnt make the movie any LESS enjoyable, not to munch through it..

Last time I went to a movie, I bought a diet soda there, and brought my Nutrisystem dessert (zesty herb snack mix) and also a piece of hard candy (free extra). I had my snack and was quite satisfied...

Well those were great. I think I will take a fudge graham bar and some fruit. And I will smuggle in a diet coke (shhh...) too. That's going to be quite a treat altogether. I wish I could get out of the habit of needing/wanting to eat at a movie, Pandorra, especially in my normal eating mode. Sounds like an air popper might be a good thing to acquire.

Thanks again!.

Diced veggies stuffed full in a baggie...its that crunchy, hand to mouth feeling that takes the place of movie popcorn. And diced relatively small so it takes a lot of up & down to get thru the bag...

I don't need to eat during a movie anymore, either (actually, I never did), but since I eat every few hours, a snack at the theater is generally a necessity for me...

I always take a fruit, usually grapes and my lunch bar...
