I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I find an decent answer. You should email the people at Dukan Diet as they probably could give you an answer..
Sounds great! I was wondering if both the ff shredded mozz and the ff ricotta together added up to the dairy serving, or if it is counted as a dairy and a free food?..
Not sure on that one, since it's only 2 tbsp it shouldnt matter much cuz I know 1/2 c FF cottage cheese is a dairy serving..
1/4 cup of ricotta is 60 calories and 5 gr. protein and 1/4 cup of fat free shredded cheese is 45 calories and 9 gr. of protein..
2 tbls. of ricotta is a half a serving of that and 2 tbls of fat free is 1/2 serving of that so I would probably consider it one serving..
At least I think 2 tbls is an 1/8 of a cup...
So, if you save 1/2 your dairy/protein from your afternoon snack you can freely make the recipe as originally posted or if you want it cheesier you can save the entire dairy/protein serving and increase the cheeses to 1/4c ricotta & 1/4c ff shredded cheese..
YUM! I'm having this today...off to the store for some ricotta & moz cheeses...
Wow you guys are good, birdieg almost confused me but I figured it out! LOL..
That sounds awesome! The spaghetti is one of my faves so I'll definitely have to try this...
Oh my god that sounds so good my next order is due this week so that will be the first thing I make thank you...
I made this using the spaghetti - was very good..
Also tried it using the pasta fagioli and found it to be just a great!..
This sounds like genius to me. I am going to have to put that ricotta on my grocery list!..
My hubby and I both had spaghetti on our orders so I combined out meals in a medium baking dish, I spread the ricotta cheese over the top of the spaghetti and sprinkled chesse on top..
Super delish. My hubby mentioned that this meal did not feel like a Dukan Diet at all!!..
Finally got my order (I delayed) and going to try this tonight! sounds so good!!!!..
I had to make this with cottage cheese because I didn't have ricotta on hand. It still turned out really good!..
