First question I have is What is the best raw food Dukan Diet for your dog? Looking forward for any answer. Another quick question... I began the Dukan Diet program on 1-8-09 and saw some success pretty quickly. As of today, I have lost a total of 18 pounds. However, last week I lost zero, and this week I lost just one pound. I know it is early yet, but I am feeling frustrated, especially since I really worked harder to exercise this past week and still lost only one silly pound..

I am getting married in the first part of October, and I do not want to even shop for my wedding dress until I have reached my goal weight, which is still 40 pounds away..

I am trying to be patient and conscientious about the program, but I would appreciate any tips that anyone has for getting off of the plateau that I am stuck on and moving forward with meaningful weight loss!..

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer to your question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I discover an answer. You should email the people at Dukan Diet as they probably could assist you..

I was at a plateau for two weeks after my second week. This past Saturday, I finally lost some pounds (albiet ounces). It's a wonderful feeling to just lose ounces and I wanted to just kiss my scale! Anyway, I tried mixing up my proteins and not just having cheese. I also started drinking 16 more ounces of water than the recommended. Maybe that has been the key..

I don't drink any more Dukan Diet sodas or flavored drinks as I can't get all my water in if I do. I also cut WAY down on my coffee for the same reason. I may have one cup of coffee every weekday and on the weekends..

Don't throw your scale out the window (or at the mirror) just yet...patience, patience, patience..

Doesnt sound like a plateai to me - just sounds normal - heavy initial weight loss - then it tapers off & gives body time to adjust...Dont be so hooked on a scale - measure or try on smaller clothes - sometimes we are "losing" in better ways than just pounds...

When I was on WW, they told me losing 1-2 lbs a week was the normal and healthy range. I don't know how true that is. I am sure it is especially frustrating, though, when you have something specific you are working towards..

It seems like Sandra and Kerry had some good suggestions. I think the weight loss will kick in again. Good luck!..

Counselor suggested to me to switch my lunch and dinner servings around. It worked!! I switch everything around and plan to keep this up until I get stuck again.

Oh my I glad to know that someone out there is like me. 3 weeks and I really only lost 4 ounces. What the heck is that all about? I do exercise all the time too and if you look at the numbers what I take in and what I use in calories the scale/numbers should be flying down. Dang it! All I can say is let's stick with it and see what happens this week. I too am going to switch up my exercise routine and foods a little. Have an amazing day.

How much and how often are you exercising? you should call a Dukan Diet counselor and walk through your meal plan to see whether 1) you are following it properly (sometimes people forget some of the add-ins and too few calories will inhibit weight loss) and 2) whether you need to tweak or adjust the plan (depending on your level of exercise they may suggest adding a protein). the counselors are the best ones to advise whay you should do...

Hi there, I too, hit a tought spot and called Nutrisystem and they told me to switch my lunch and dinner around. It worked so far. I was getting too many calories at dinner time at night so I now eat the dinner foods for lunch. Good luck!..
