Got a quick question: What is the best Dukan Diet pill/fat burner? Many thanks for any response. Another question I got... I have looked through threads and Christina's recipe board and can't find the rolls or muffins made with cinnamon extract. Please help me with the recipe..

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the answer to that question. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I discover an answer. You should email the people at Dukan Diet as they probably could answer your Dukan Diet question..

Christina posted in the recipe thread that cinnamon extract has a complete different taste than cinnamon. I finally found the cinnamon extract in one of my grocery stores after looking in a bunch of others. odd that it is hard to find. if you check the thread, others posted about using other flavored extracts instead of cinnamon...

Christina says you can take regular granular Splenda (the kind in the big bag, not packets) and mix a tablespoon of molasses into a cup of Splenda. I was just reading that today...

The cinnamon extract is key to the flavor of this one. I have another recipe for a plain donut that uses nutmeg like the regular cake donuts so you may want to try that one instead. I have been able to find the cinnamon extract at all of my stores now. It's right there with all of the other flavored extracts and it's yummy!! It's more the flavor of cinnamon red hots if that makes more sence. For the splenda, you can use just regular splenda here and it will be fine. The splenda brown sugar adds more flavor but you probably won't notice much difference in this recipe. Hope that helps!..

I actually found it at Walmart and at Kroger here in my rural Kentucky area! I was shocked because I usually have trouble finding anything that would be considered 'different'. I guess times are a changin'!!.

I looked up and found this recipe for you and now, I may have to try it too! Looks good!!!..

Well it uses the Dukan Diet pancake mix so tecnically it's a breakfast entree, but the stats for a breakfast and a dessert are about the same so you could use it for either one really!..

Found the recipe is Graylady's archive of all the recipes people have posted over the years.... It came out very yummy... I think if I had used baking powder it may have risen better I don't know if that is true though I don't really understand how baking powder works... what happened was it came out VERY moist and I made it in a lil single serve bread pan so it rose like a bread loaf and then when I took it out of the oven and let it cool it kind of deflated but it was still YUMMY!! I will without a doubt make it again....

Banana (Nut) Bread.

1 egg, slightly beaten 1/2 banana, mashed.

1/3 cup vanilla nonfat yogurt 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract.

2 Tbs. sugar substitute (I use Splenda) 1 pkg. Dukan Diet Pancake Mix.

1 Tbs. chopped nuts (optional).

In small bowl, mix banana, egg, yogurt, vanilla, and sugar substitute, stirring well after each addition. Stir in pancake mix. Add nuts, if desired. Bake 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. If you prefer to cook this in the microwave, the texture will be a little spongy, but the taste is great. I microwaved mine in a large cereal bowl for four minutes.

Without nuts: 270 calories, 5g fat, 16g protein... With nuts: 320 calories, 10g fat, 17g protein..

Oh sure! you can use whatever pan you'd like! I prefer a metal pan for this one simply because the outside gets nice and crispy and the inside is tender, but what ever shape pan you have will certainly work!!.

I'll fix the baking temp! Sorry about that!!! Oh I can't because I didn't post the recipe! LOL!! Baking temp should be 400 degrees...

Oh butter extract is the most awesome stuff ever!!! I always have like 6 bottles in the pantry so I don't run out! You can use that in anything to give it a butter flavor!! LOVE IT!!..

HAHAHA I knew I saw it in one of your recipes thats why I bought it and now I can't find the recipe... and I also can't find the splenda brown sugar... lol I am just bound to not have at least one ingredient lol I do have the granulated splenda but I think it's mized w/ real sugar..

Just a question. The recipes for the banana bread and all the others look amazing! Just wondering how much of it you can have at one meal, like breakfast? These recipes are single servings - so you get to eat the WHOLE thing ..... sometimes I actually have a hard time eating all of some of the recipes - and it's not because they are more than one serving. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Christina's recipes...

Yeah I ate the whole thing when I had the banana bread and it was yummy the only thing I missed was having a fruit and a protein on the side instead it was included in the bread so I had to suck it up and enjoy the bread slowly haha..

I dont' think you made my recipe for that one. My banana bread cake has a few different ways you can use it, but none are as a whole entree. I usually try not to do that because I like to eat my protein seperate. Oh yeah duh!! I just saw the recipe posted above and indeed it's not mine! LOl!! That sounds like alot of liquid stuff, didn't it come out mushy?..

It was moist and I was nervous looking at it when I baked it thinking OMG the top is never going to brown because it was so wet looking but I left it in a few extra minutes and it eventually did lol... It was delish....

I have a can of the powdered buttermilk I bought at Walmart, so I just mix some up when needed. But, you can add vinegar or lemon juice to FF milk and in about 10 minutes use it as buttermilk. I believe you use 1TBS vinegar to 1 cup of milk...

I keep powdered buttermilk in my fridge for recipes. Then you don't have to worry so much about keeping 'fresh' buttermilk for those times you need it. You should be able to find it in the baking section or around the powdered milk...

You could just use the regular FF milk, but buttermilk gives it a better flavor. Just sour it by adding 1/4 tsp. of vinegar to the 1/4 C. milk. It works great...

In regards to Cinnamon can contact McCormick or call them at 1-800-632-5847 and ask them what store near you sells the cin. Extract. I did and they gave me about 10 places...

I tried this today and unfortunately half of the dough stuck to the cupcake holder... didn't think of spraying PAM on it :-(.

I see so many people on this way of cutting back, cooking or baking. The reason I joined Dukan Diet was so I didn't have to cook, whats up with so many baking, etc?? The only thing I cook is my veggies or eggs. I did find I LOVE the french tst recipe, my very favorite...

When you've been doing this a long time for whatever reason, or if you're having trouble enjoying the taste of the food for whatever reason, it's really nice to try out some great ways of fixing up the Dukan Diet food! I still eat Dukan Diet food probably 1/3 of the time 4 years after taking my first bite, and part of the reason is because of these types of fabulous recipes!!! This.


Of eating is for life, even if you stop eating Dukan Diet food, so enjoy it!!!..

Well, you've just pointed out one of the great things about this program...its so versatile! If you want to continue to do the gourmet, creative thing there is so much room to do that...and if you want to do as simple as possible...well, that's pretty easy as well. But the great thing - either one works and you don't have to give up your creative cooking urges to do wonderful on this program...
