Question I have... What is the best Dukan Diet for a vegetarian with high triglyceride/cholesterol? Many thanks for any answer. Another question... I came across this recipe and thought some of you might like to give this a try - I am planning on trying it myself but need to get to the store first..

1 sprays cooking spray.

1 small head cauliflower.

1/2 tsp ground cumin.

1/2 tsp chili powder, or more to taste.

1/2 tsp table salt.

1/2 tsp black pepper.

Preheat oven to 400F. Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray..

Cut cauliflower florets into bite-sized pieces (there should be about 4 cups). Place cauliflower in a medium bowl and add cumin, chili powder, salt and pepper; toss well to coat..

Spread cauliflower on prepared baking sheet and bake until cauliflower is tender, but not mushy, stirring halfway through, about 10 minutes. Yields about 1/2 cup per serving...

Another Thing To Do Is To Dip The Florets In Egg Beaters(just The Top) And And Sprinkle With Ff Parmesan Cheese And Bake At 400.

I just tried the mashed cauliflower last night and it was just ok. So now I have the rest of the bag to go. Is it possible to make these cauliflower poppers using frozen cauliflower? If so, how? Thanks in advance!..

Try making the mash again, but use fresh cauliflower. Frozen just doesn't do it..

I would try making the poppers with the frozen, just to use it up. If it's lousy, no biggie, seems to me. Frozen cauliflower is lousy to begin with..

Making the mash with fresh, and squeezing as much of the water out as possible, then mashing it with some parmesan, FF cream cheese, FF half 'n' half and ICBINB is really pretty good...

The cauliflower poppers sound yummy. I came across a recipe a few years ago called "cauliflower popcorn", very similar, spray with cooking spray, put whatever spices you like and bake-but you baked it for 45 min to an hour, till it got browned and somewhat crispy. Very good, you do need to stir it at least once while baking, and it was a fairly high heat, 450. Comes out good and does actually taste like popcorn!..

Thanks for the tips! I'll give it one more whirl. For the poppers should I cook the cauliflower first before I bake it with the spices and such? Or should I just go ahead and spice it up and then bake it?..
