First off, What foods should I fix in the natural raw food Dukan Diets for yorkshire terriors.? Thanks in advance for any answer or 2. Another question... I made a really yummy breakfast today with the apple scone. I took an apple & cubed it, sprinkled it with cinnamon & splenda & microwaved it until soft & there was lots of liquid in the bowl. When it was done I cut up the scone into the same size cubes & mixed it in with the apple & sprinkled with more cinnamon & splenda & popped it back in the microwave for 30 more seconds. It came out kind of like a bread pudding..

It was so yummy, however it was really dry. I thought the liquid from the apples would be enough to moisten it, but it wasn't. Those scones are like sponges, lol!.

Any suggestions for what I could do to it to up the moisture factor?.

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I got an useful answer. You should email the people at Dukan Diet as they probably could assist you..

I have one scone left and will not get an order for a long time yet. I will try this. I have some Caramel syrup. More water on the apple might work too..

Thanks so much for posting this!! I have some scones that are stale and this would be a great way to use them and bring them back to life!! I may just add in egg beaters for my protein and have an all in one breakfast like I've done before with the muffins. I think you've solved my breakfast delima for tomarrow!!..

I Slice Mine In Half Toast It Put Icbinb On It And Put Either 3 Egg Whites Or 1 Egg And A Slice Of Ff Cheese.thats A Too Die For Egg Sandwich...

Hi Deborilla, You may want to add a teaspoon at a time of applesauce to the mixture and the heat. The applesauce may add the additional moisture you need and is thick enough not to be "gulpled up" by the scone. Just remember to use unsweetened applesauce. Karen..

Oh I like that applesauce idea too. Maybe half an apple & the rest apple sauce. I'm going to try that too...

Can't you use a egg. with them or does it have to be an egg beater ?

As your protein you can use 1 egg, 3 egg whites or the eggbeaters. Doesn't matter which...
