That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I bump into an useful answer. You should email the people at Dukan Diet as they probably could give you help..
Cook them on the stove with veggies and some cheese (either as a protein serving or just a little bit so it's not TOO many calories). Make an omlet or just a scramble...
I add the egg beaters as a protein, mushrooms, and make an omlet. I had it on saturday and it was good. The only thing it was lacking was a bit of flavor. But it was nt nasty or anything...
Add ham and green peppers - fry in a pan and you have a farmer's scramble..
The trick is to cook them in the pan - don't even think about eating them out of the microwave...
I add an egg (protein serving) and make an omelet in a pan with mushrooms and spinach. Then I top it with salsa!..
I scramble them with some jalapeno peppers, then lay a couple of slices of FF cheese on top and nuke it for about 10 seconds. Mmmm, hot, cheesy breakfast!..
DUH! I never thought about adding in another protein like additional eggs! I am going to try that tomorrow. I haven't been on long (2 wks) and am learning as I go. Thanks so much!!..
I also add a whole egg protein to any of the egg dishes (including the frittatta) and sometimes some veggies (peppers, mushrooms, tomato) but I always do them as an omelet in a pan on top of the stove. The difference is amazing and the omelet is huge!..
Had Dukan Diet eggs this morning - sauted mushrooms & spinach & then added eggs & cut up Canadian Bacon...scrambled - all on stove of course. Really filling & I enjoyed them..
I sometimes add green chili and a ff hotdog, so good!..
I sautee onions, green bells and canadian bacon and add to the package when I cook then top with some ff mozzarella is very.
I really like the eggs themselves IF done scrambled and in a pan not the microwave... just super ICK to me if nuking them...
I do OK with just adding my 1 oz cheese protein requirement but my husband adds an egg. I do mine like an omlette with the cheese layered on top and flip it over. What I dont get though is why the MEN get to have a carbohydrate like toast nad we women dont? Whats up with that?..
I throw some onions in and make them in the microwave. Then I add salsa and a little salt and pepper. I find them delicious. I find myself saying that about the eggs a lot lately..
I think it's sort of magic how they become something approximating scrambled eggs from powder. I am similarly excited by the process of the taco powder turning into beef..
Now the eggs with sausage (?)the other Dukan Diet eggs, I think they're eggs with sausage? I couldn't make them solidify for the life of me, not in the microwave, not in the pan...
I have not tried the eggs, not a fan of any kind of egg, but I did see this post and have posted on the trades thread that I have some eggs I'd like to sell..
5 scrambled eggs with veggie sausage crumbles.
2 scrambled eggs.
1 scrambled eggs with cheddar.
3 egg fritatas.
I did post this on the trade thread also. Any interest, please PM me a price plus shipping costs..
Well I took everyone suggestions for this morning and added 1/4C egg beaters with sauteed peppers and spinach. It smelled good but...I still don't like them. Tell me what else I can eat for breadfast to replace those eggs. I have six left. Can I just eat egg whites maybe 1/2 C and add veggies? What other substitutions can I make for pancakes? Is there anything at the store that I can use that would be Dukan Diet friendly?? Thanks!..
Hey Quinn.. If you really don't like them I would try the trade board under food talk and tips... You can post them to trade for breakfast items you do like with another Dukan Diet member. Like blue berry muffins, cereal or what ever it may be that you like instead... and if you really want egg in your diet.. then have the Dukan Diet breakfast entree you trade for...
I will have to try that, can't stand them alone. I put a dash of salsa in them last time and still had a hard time choking them down..
I do this too. Also the same thing with the Egg Frittata. It's really good that way but inedible to me without adding the real egg...
Cook them on the stove with some eggbeaters mixed in, or OMELETTE!..
I just tried this last week and will do it from now on. I add 1 serving of cottage cheese before I microwave the eggs. I do 35 seconds, stir and then do this 2 more times. The egg mixture fills the cup and there is no rubbery or dry texture. Hope it helps...
Then why don't you just do regular eggs? If you add one anyway?..
I add Ketchup to my scrambled eggs. Taste just fine to me...
My trick is adding three egg whites, mixing really well, and cooking in a pan on the stove rather than in the container. Makes them just like regular eggs, in my opinion...
