Got a question, hope someone can answer... What exactly does free foods in the Nutrisystem system mean? Hoping for any answer. Another quick question... H E L P! My food has arrived. I looked at where it tells me to log my food. But do I need to eat a protein or dairy with my breakfast and all this fruit and extra things as it is posted? I am very very confused?????..

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the answer to that question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I discover an decent answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably can answer it..

Yes, you must eat everything on the plan! Failure to do so will slow your weight loss as your metabolism comes to a screeching halt!..

I am day 3 and still am a bit confused....

1. Regarding carbs. I don't understand how in some meal plans it shows toast for breakfast...How did that get determined? What if you want to make your chicken salad on a roll? Is that possible and if so how when there isn't a carb selection at lunch?.

2.I am a picky eater and today at lunch my selection was a DISLIKE...what do I do then? I don't like it, don't plan to reorder it but I have to finish my lunch and I have 2 more in my pantry.

Finally, starting last night I have upper abdominal cramps. Not painful but irritating. I am a nurse and I know my body well, this is a new experience since starting the program. Is this common? It isn't hunger pains, constipation concerns or anything like that. It isn't a stabbing pain, more like a burning pain....

I am a nerd, and need information for me to be a success at this, any information is appreciated, I tried the counsellor but I still dont' quite understand the carbs..

Any help I will take with great appreciation!!!..

Very helpful. I am confused about the calories. Where does it say how many you are supposed to have a day?.

PamSB stated 1250-1350 for her. Is this true for everyone with <100lbs to lose?.

For women, yes!Nutrisystemis not a calorie counting program per se, eat all the food and add ins and exercise if you can and the weogh will come off..

Ohnooo is right -Nutrisystemis not designed to be a calorie counting program, but remember, every calorie counts, so make sure you record everything you eat (including "free" foods) so you know where you are at each day...
