First off, What Dukan Diet changes should I make in order to help my acne? Many thanks for any response. My other question... So out of curiousity I bought a tub of Fage 0% total Greek-strained yogurt for a change of protein snack. And you know when you get that sour taste in your mouth and your whole face scrunches up - that was my reaction when I had my first taste of this stuff. Now I have a tub left and all I can think of is adding some Splenda to make it better and/or maybe a tablespoon of sf fruit preserves. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!..

Good question... I dunno what is the right answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I discover an useful answer. You should email the people at Dukan Diet as they probably can help you..

I had a similar reaction to the Oikos Greek Yogurt and a similar thought about what to do with it. I thought it tasted more like sour cream and I think I'll use it with the tacos. Emily's idea about splenda and vanilla extract sounds like a good idea too. Not quite sure whatelse you could use that with..

I put Da Vinci SF Syrups in it and dried fruit from Just Tomatoes and let it sit for an hour. I think I put about 2 TBL of the syrup in, but put in as much as you like...

I sprinkle just a bit of Splenda onto some sliced strawberries and mixed them with the yogurt. Then let it sit for about 15 minutes to let the strawberries soak into the yogurt. This is a good afternoon snack at work...

Ra? I love my FAGE and can't start my morning w/o it! I add 1 equal packet to it before adding my strawberries and granola. ALTHOUGH I DO NOT HAVE TO LET IT SIT FOR ANY AMOUNT OF TIME, IT NEEDS NO SATURATION PERIOD. I am not sure why anyone thinks they need to do that. You can also use it as a sour cream substitute alla the tart taste. If you make some sort of an egg omlete mexican dish/burrito it works great. enjo it - all is not lost!..

So we can eat this yogurts even if thay 120-140 cal? I nevre byieng them just because they are so high in cal. I love them a lot, but this somthing sweet, to soure on it on..

The fat-free that I bought has only 90 calories..

I mix 3/4 cup with a couple tbsp Walden Farms Marshmallow Dip. The WF sweetens the Fage and the Fage cuts the weird metallic taste of the WF. I love it!!! I also make smoothies with it using any fruit and either White Chocolate Da Vinci syrup or any flavor that works with the fruit..

Make sure you are getting the FF one (that one is 120 calories per 8 oz with 20g protein), and if so, bear in mind that you don't have to eat the whole container. I always eat 1/2 to 3/4 cup, because that easily contains enough protein to qualify as a protein serving without going over in calories...

Sometimes I'll take a greek yogurt (protein serving equivalent) and mix 2 tsp of splenda with 1/2 scoop of Ron and Frank's Dark Hot Chocolate mix, and 1/2 scoop of Ron and Frank's Peanut Butter Cup mix, stir it all up. (Ron and Frank's this way would be 20 calories of your free food count for the day.).

Mid afternoon I break the brownie into pieces and mix in with the yogurt..

Because of the calories, I eat 1/2 of this 'concoction' for my mid afternoon for snack..

The other half I have after dinner for dessert..

And, if you really want to splurge you can use Peanut Butter as your fat serving and mix it in with the yogurt and stuff as well...

I agree on the teaspoon is only 20 calories and it can by one of your free 20 calories! I love the Greek Fage 0% yogurt only 60 calories, 6 protein and 2 grams of fiber! Also it does work real well plain substituted for sour cream. One of my favorite finds. Rexanne..

My favorite is to add 2 tablespoons of sf maple syrup. Team that with a juicy, ripe pear ........ yummmmmmo!!!!!!!!.

I let my concoction with dried fruit sit for an hour (or more, even days) in the fridge because it lets the dried berries rehydrate. When they do that, they remove a lot of moisture from the yogurt and the resulting mix has the consistency of ice cream. It's heaven...

So to update I've already finished most of the tub of Fage that I got - thank you soooo much for all the ideas b/c not only is the greek yogurt edible to me, but I really do enjoy it now! I think I'll start getting this stuff regularly now...

I LOVE this yogurt! I have it every morning for breakfast with my cereal mixed in. I mix in a pack or two of splenda and then sometimes add either PB2, dark Cocoa or 1/2 Tb of powdered SF FF pudding mix. I use different flavors of the pudding mix. (Since adding the 1/2 Tb of pudding mix or dark cocoa does not take the total stats above what we are allowed for a yogurt serving, I don't count the add-ins, but may count my PB2 depending on how much I usesome days I want more added in.).

I Love the cheesecake flavor mixed with 1/2 cup of the yogurt and then put over top of a baked apple for my afternoon snack. When I really feel like I must have something to curb my sweet tooth I will add a Tb of PB2 and the cheesecake pudding mix. Tastes just like peanut butter cheesecake..

I also use the pistacchio flavored mix and then mix in crushed pineapple for my afternoon snack (I keep thinking I need to try adding a little Walden Farms Marshmallow dip to this mix, but haven't done so yet.)..

Since I always seem to have trouble getting all my fruit in I mix one of those little cups of pineapple that you can buy with a small container of greek yougurt and....WAH LA! I have a high protein snack that contains one of my fruit servings...

The nonfat plain Fage yogurt I found was a 6 oz tub for 120 calories. That seems to high caloric for the protein serving. Am I missing something you all know and I don't???? Thanks. Lindy..

Was that a honey or blueberry flavor, or even vanilla? It's within the limits once a day at 120, but I thought the plain comes in a slightly smaller size that's more like 90 calories but I could be mistaken. I find the Fage is a little difficult to locate in my area and the Oikos is much more prevalent so I usually get Oikos brand now..

The Oikos comes in a plain 5.3 oz. cup that is 90 calories...

FAGE at Walmart and it was also very expensive- $1.99 for a 6 oz tub! someone told me Giant has it for $.99. I know the stores are different in different areas so you may not have that one. I will look for Oikos if I can find it. thanks!..

Hmmmm, I don't know why that should be... According to my tub, 5.3 oz of plain, NF Fage is only 80 calories with 13g protein, which would make 6 oz containing 91 calories & 15g protein. But if your tub has enough protein, you could just eat 4 oz instead of 6, as long as it has at least 7g protein...

How about making this recipe with the fage, convert it into a cheesecake for breakfast? Fage yogurt is great for it, instead of the quark/ricotta!.

Try different brands...the first one I tried I didn't like then I tried Greek God's Yogurt with Honey full fat (before NS!) It was incredible!!! Almost like cheesecake. Finally the store got this brand in plain nonfat...6oz is 60 calories 0 fat, 6 protein and 2 g fiber. Not quite as good but still good...sometimes I add a tsp of honey with fruit or Kashi go lean cereal. It is also very good on tacos and fajitas...anything you would normally use sour cream I would shop around. Rexanne..

While staring at my Dukan Diet brownie and thinking about how yummy it would be with ice cream.

I decided to drag out the Cuisenart ice cream maker. I mixed the yogurt, 3 pkg of Splenda, tsp of vanilla and 1/4 cup non fat half and half. After 30 was delicious. on top of the brownie .. WOW...
