First off, What books are included in the 2009 Nutrisystem starter kit? Many thanks for any comment. 2nd question I got is.. I added a surprise to the microwaveable chocolate cake and it turned out yummy. I filled 1/2 the ramekin with cake mix, then I added a tsp. of sugar free strawberry jelly, then I topped it with the rest of the cake mix. I baked it in the oven for a more authentic cake flavor.

Very yummy!..

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer. I'll do some research and get back to you if I find an decent answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could answer your Nutrisystem question..

How long do you bake it? and at what temp?..

I am glad to hear that the cake in the oven turned out fine. I was thinking about putting it in the oven instead of the microwave. I am not the type for cooking a cake of any kind in the microwave. I will definitely try it tonight. I have some Walden Farms syrup I am gonna try with it...

I baked it at 375, but didn't pay much attention to how long. I just kept checking it. Sorry! I'd guess around 10 or 12 minutes...

I've been successful with all these ideas as well. And I HEAR that a lot of people are receiving unordered apple cakes. The recipe using 1/8 c applesauce, soaked raisins, and cinnamon was really good recently. Your recipe made me think I'd put a surprise of apple butter or marmalade in an apple cake if I get that for a surprise next order!.

Mmm, apple butter in the cake. Sounds good! I have a few apple cakes that I need to experiment with!.

I bake mine in the toaster oven at 350-375 for about 10-12 minutes. I think 10 minutes is fine, and I may try going a minute or two less to keep some of the cake gooey. But to be safe the first time you try it I'd say give it 10 minutes, and you can always adjust it the next time. Because I can guarantee there will be a next time!! Heehee.....

Hi everyone,.

Thanks for the ideas. I got 5 apple cakes in my last order (their idea, not mine) Now I have some ideas for both cakes...
