Before I begin, I wanna ask: What are the latest GoDaddy shopping codes?.

My next question is: .

Here's your new forum section you spammers.. Seriously though. CAN-SPAM compliant shit only over here. If we catch you being naughty and trying to sell CD lists of 50 billion addresses for $30, you'll be escorted from the site (a nice way of saying we will ban your ass). Enjoy..

Oh yeah.. just figured I'd let everyone know, we'll be keeping this here on a trial period for about 90 days to see how it goes. If the people who said they would constantly keep this place updated flake out, and there isn't much activity going on overall, I'm canning it and just merging it with the traffic section...

I think it's interesting to have also an email marketing section here. Looking forward to read the threads.....

No worries. I will. What was your email address again?..

I hope this works out, because I have never found a real email marketing forum on the net. There are a few decent blogs that cover the issues, but the forums are always littered with mom and pop newsletter marketers and people asking things like "How does I got Aweber!?" I'll do my best to keep it populated...

I agree. This forum convinced me to join, hopefully it'll be a good resource..

To start things off, would you might sharing some of your favorite emailing blogs? I've yet to find one I really like...

I really can't say I have a regular one sadly, I just find stories in online marketing blogs or ESP blogs from time to time that are worthwhile. That being said, the one I find myself reading the most of late is Campaign Monitor's blog. They actually do reviews and tests and post results for broad-base email marketers, which I find helpful. It's very marketing and design heavy and not too into the interds of running your own email marketing department, but it's still good content. I'm sure there are better out there, but I stopped actively looking a while ago.

Certainly no one seems to write a regular blog on the stuff that I've worked with or helped people deal with and that I'd like to stay fresh on or learn more about. I never see much about the differing levels of AOL whitelisting and how they're counterintuitive, the various mass mailing MTAs and their differences and performance, the best way to integrate your email marketing components as part of a larger marketing chain (integrating data, using remote calls from data collection systems to initiate autosponders, crap like this) - maybe even who you have to blow to get a response out of Outblaze, heh. Anyway, I'd love it if the people who knew got together online somewhere and talked, but it's a heavily despised field (which is why I only consult in it anymore) and a bit of a monkish discipline, so I can understand if they haven't (maybe I just haven't found them). Maybe this place will be that place...

I could be wrong, but I think he was trying to be funny by imitating a typical spam email with nonsense text to get past the filters.....

Where are all those content threads you spammers...err.. mailers promised for this section?!..

Yes. That was from an actual email that made it past the filters yesterday..

The irony of it all is that I can not seem to generate an autoresponder msg for a new project - every one I craft seems to end up in spam/junk filters..

I hope we can also get good information for small time email stuff..

What I have read so far is really good...

The mail world is like SEO I doubt that anyone is going to tell you too much as it will dimish their revenues. But I am open to hearing experiences good and bad...

Hey, has anyone here used Habeas mail service to have their mail whitelisted?..
