Hi everyone, quick 1st question: What are the latest GoDaddy checkout codes?.

My 2nd question is: .

Hey guys, I have a mailing list with 50k contacts in my niche and I am planning to send 1000 mails a day..

I read some articles about the art of mailing but that was all about "bulk mailing". Do I really need a server to send just 1000 mails a day?.

I hope you would share your experience about that low mailing strategy ,).

Every help / comment / suggestion is appreciated..

Your question was: What are the latest GoDaddy checkout codes?.

Well I don't really want to upload my email data to any third party services. Maybe they are good and maybe someone has great success there but as a developer I have a my own methods to manage my mail lists..

However, I am just looking for a solution to deliver my mails. Does anyone know a good hoster for this. And yes, my lists are opt-in and I am not trying to spam.

By the way, mail chimp would invoice $240 for my 50k list...

Luckily you said it yourself, your a developer you will be able to figure it out just fine on your own...

I think postfix is a tool to deliver an email. I am looking for a hoster, not for a tool...

No, I said I don't want to upload my lists to third party services. Because I can manage my lists with my dev. knowledge. The delivery server is the probem. I mean I don't want to set up a home smtp server, there must something that fits for me and others..

Rent a vps in UK on a fresh ip cant go wrong there, I use UK2 with some software I developed my self..

Alright, because my tools are written for windows I should rent UKV100+W2k3 = 14,95/Month. Alright, now I have a server to deliver my mails.

Any mailbox suggestions ? Should I installed my own SMTP server or would you recommend any mailbox provider for this..

Thank you in advance...

Take the advice of the peeps up above. Use MailChimp. Just because you have 'dev' knowledge doesn't mean you have IPs with rep. And if you're only doing 1K, you can set the account up for free and mail that 1 K 6x a month before they even bill you..

Simple as hell. You no like - jump the pond and DIY...

Doenst work for me because I can only store 1000 addresses. It is just not the right solution...

It really is though...

You could use phplist + postfix on linux. That is cheap and efficient, err relatively efficient...

Learn the ropes by running your own smtp using cpanel on a shared account or something. Learn your profit margins and then upgrade..
