First of all What are some typical Dukan Diet and exercise plans? Looking forward for any comment. Second question.. Hi. I've been on Dukan Diet for about a month and so far, so good. I am a vegetarian and love Italian, Mexican, and Asian food, and I have really been missing them. I've seen some great ideas for Italian type recipes that I can modify to use Dukan Diet vegetarian meals, but so far I haven't noticed anything that resembles Mexican or Asian recipes. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks so much...

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to your question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I got an answer. You should email the people at Dukan Diet as they probably know..

You might want to check my Dinner file doubt there's much using Dukan Diet entrees that would work for you, but there are some interesting recipes using the Dukan Diet beef or chicken patties (or store bought ground beef or chicken breast) - that you could look at with the idea of using non-meat subs instead of the Dukan Diet patties would be effectively doing Dukan Diet with your own foods, but might work to get you the flavors you are looking for....

It's too bad Dukan Diet discontinued the Thai Noodles w/ Peanut Sauce & Tofu - while it was somewhat insipid in it's "as is" state, the addition of some veggies & a hit of Steel's Peanut Sauce worked wonders, and the lunchtime Spicy Oriental Noodles before it went icky (change in manufacturers we assume) was really fun to play with.... ahhh doncha just love oldtimers - lmao....

Otherwise - check the following sites again, I'd expect given the current Dukan Diet Vegetarian food list that you'll need to do it "on your own", but hey, that can be fun too.... lmao....

Be sure to try the Morningstar Farms Asian Burgers...

I add a little less water to the Black Bean Tortilla Soup, let sit a long time so it thickens up, add FF shredded cheddar cheese for my protein and top with a tbsp FF sour cream. Makes it just like refried beans to my taste!!!..

I used the Beef Tacos and made a delicious taco salad. I used spinach, salsa, the beef (cooled down after cooking), 2 T. low fat sour cream, a chopped tomato and some onions. I crushed the shells from the tacos on top. My husband was eating a chicken/bean burrito and I felt like I wasn't missing out...

Well, that might work better with the veggie fajita, since she's a vegetarian and the beef tacos aren't...sounds really tasty to me though!..

I have used the veggie fajita and made it into a taco salad, extra onion, pepper, avacado (fat serving) topped with salsa. Depending what you have available, use Dukan Diet corn chips, ff chedder, etc..

We have also add 1 diced chicken breast sauted with garlic, onion, & pepper if we had a protien left...

Thanks for the suggestions so far. I had a wonderful salad tonight with Dukan Diet veggie chili, sauteed onions, peppers, and mushrooms with some chili powder and spicy Mrs. Dash, salsa, FF sour cream, lettuce, tomato and some low fat cheese (saved protein). It was so good. I only missed the tortilla chips a tiny bit, but much less than I thought I would..

I have been making the fajita into soup by adding broth and canned tomatoes as suggested in a post that I read. I suppose that I could even eat a piece of bread with the soup, since I am skipping the tortilla..

Unfortunately my local grocery store does not have the Morningstar Farms Asian burgers yet, but but I'm hoping they will arrive soon..

Thanks for the suggestions and happy eating everyone..

Pam, what do they taste like? Are they more spicy or sweet? Do they taste anything like meat? Any strong Asian flavors like ginger?.

I have a package of them in my freezer that I have yet to try because the MS Spicy Black Bean Burger always lures me away (SOOO good). I'm also unsure of what to pair it with because it sounds like a more unusual flavor. I think I might just eat it plain w/ a side of cheesey mashed potatoes for lunch on Sunday...

Turn the lunch time fettucini into pad thai. Pour boiling water over the noodles and let sit. In the mean time, saute, onions, garlic, and ginger until translucent. Toss in some cubed tofu and a spoonful of peanut butter. Dump in noodles. Add some crushed chilies, lemongrass if you have it, and fresh coriander. Tastes great hot or cold...

I had yummy fake chinese food tonight. I sauteed some frozen brocolli florets and frozen julienne carrots and waxed beans (came together in a bag) in a pan. I added the Dukan Diet oriental beef and noodles to it. Then I mixed in 1/4 ff beef gravy (comes in jar-Heinz 20 cal. so Free Food) and 2tbs. of soy sauce and a little water to thin it. So delicious!!! Tasted just like chinese take out!..

Allie: They are slightly spicy and to me they taste exactly like the inside of an eggroll. I chop them up and serve over my lunch salad...

Comment #12 I miss egg rolls...all Chinese Food really. Now I really need to open that box in my freezer!.

Thanks for the quick response Pam!..

I love this recipe!.

Chinese Chicken Cole slaw.

4 cups of Shredded Cabbage.

3 chopped green onions.

2 oz of cooked chicken.

2 Tablespoons rice vinegar.

1/2 Tablespoon Sesame oil.

Optional...2 Tablespoons toasted almonds.

2 Tablespoons Sesame Seeds.

Mix all together and enjoy!!!.

If you have ever been on Weight Watchers the whole salad is only 4 points..

Hope you get a chance to make it and enjoy it as much as I do..

(you could always add crunchy chow main noodles but then your adding higher calories).

I made a vegitable stir fry (without oil) for my vegan son last night, then realized it was Dukan Diet friendly. Red & green peppers, onions, garlic, ginger, brocholi, carrots, and mandarin orange slices. Made a sauce from low sodium soy sauce, orange juice, and a tsp corn starch. I served it (to him) over brown rice. Next time I'll add tofu. My way too skinny son actually ate it...
