Trouble finishing Medifast meals?

I'm only on my third day, but I am having trouble eating all the food! I'm never hungry with this Medifast food, and I always leave a few bites because I feel like I won't be able to get it down. I know you aren't supposed to skip meals, but is it really bad to not finish? I don't want to stop my weight loss before it starts....

I think the calories are already bare bones.. you really should finish your meals because if your calories drop too low you'll get into "starvation" mode and stop losing nearly so quickly. If necessary eat those last few bites half an hour later or something. Also the meals are supposed to provide you with 100% of 20-some vitamins and minerals.. if you don't finish your meals you won't get all the vitamins and minerals you are supposed to be getting..

I couldn't finish then awoke hungry 2am a few days this week ... got up & ate (Ibuprofen requires food). THEN, no weight loss this week.

Wished I'd finished my food an hour later (and taken a Vicodin)...

Same thing happened to me when I started.. I almost quit cuz I felt so gross being that full.. I found by spacing out my food better I was able to eat all the Medifast food.. 3 1/2 months later, i'm hungry again like a normal person. So welcome, and it does get better!..

I am the same way. By the time for my evening snack, I am full. I don't want it. My husband has to remind me to have it. Like a poster said above, the one time I didnt have it, I woke up around midnight really hungry...

Try eating part of your l and g for lunch. And if you can't finish the whole thing in one sitting, save it and eat it a little later. It is important to get all of that sucker...

You need to eat all the food or you could have issues like getting sick or slowing your losses. We don't want that. As others have mentioned, you can try spacing your meals out better and splitting your lean and green to help get all the food in. We want you to be the healthiest loser you can be...
