One of my free items was the Creamy Tomato Soup. I'm not a tomato soup fan at all but I'm willing to give it a try. Anyone have any ideas on how to make it less, tomato-y?..

Your question was: Tomato Soup Ideas Needed for Nutrisystem?.

I don't eat the tomato soup, but I would think adding in veggies would help it out. Adding veggies seems to help everything out..

Oooo...I could add shrooms! I love my shrooms! Good deal. Maybe I'll have it for lunch tomorrow.

Today is a birthday lunch for a co-worker. I'm bringing a Nutrisystem bar and have already scoped out the menu so I know exactly what I'm getting so I don't stray from my eating plan...

An excellent plan! I usually do that too. If I sit and look at the menu, especially if hungry, my will power fades..

I would add shrooms, spinach, onions, the works. There are a lot of unlimited veggies you can make use out of, and it would be more like veggie soup..

I like the tomato soup and usually add broccoli and a veggie burger into it, as for v-8 I HATE v-8 cold but like it ok drinking it warm or added into something warm...

I use protein/dairy and add skim milk to it. It waters down the tomato taste a bit and makes a bigger serving. I also give it a sprinkle of basil...

I had the tomato soup for the 1st time today and I got a wonderful idea! I dumped it down the sink! It had a nasty chemical taste of some sort. I really tried to get it down, even added a piece of LC cheese, still nasty! Maybe whatever that chemical was will clean the drain! Yuk!..

I am not a tomato soup person either but found after putting this item off, that I liked it. I added some cooked veggies ( brocc and califlower ) and for my protein serving added half a serving of turkey pepperoni and half a serving of ff cheddar cheese. I have had it twice this week!..

Kjunspride - that sounds really good. I am going to have to try that tomorrow. I ordered 4 of the soups, not even thinking that we are in the middle of summer!..

Try adding some canned chopped tomatoes and maybe some herbs - you get a veggie serving and your soup will get a fresher taste...

Hahaha I know I tried it the other day for the first time too and it smelt bad but I figured I'd give it a was nasty so I dumped it down the drain as well lol..
