Hello! I have been doing Nutrisystem since Jan. and have lost 20 lbs! Yea me! But I reached that about 3 weeks ago and haven't moved since...except up 1-2 lbs that I had to re-lose! I have been plugging along with all my water, veggies, Nutrisystem food, and proteins. I have also been walking/running and doing arm weights 2-3 times per week for about the past month. I am planning on continuing along and hoping to get the scale moving again, but I thought I'd check here for any other suggestions to help me out. I don't want to get frustrated and give up, but I NEED to get those numbers going down again! HELP!.

Thank you so much Barbara! Even though that is something I know, I hadn't thought about the muscle weighing more. I will do like you said she switch some things around for my meals. I know this is all the dreaded "curse of the 3s" so thanks for helping me stay on track!.

BTW, You are doing great too !!! Congratulations and keep it up!..

Sometimes eating off plan a day will start the lose again. I used to do 3 days of protein to start the loss again. It stops, then the weight comes off again. Frustrating when a plateau lasts for weeks. I remember I used to have dinner at lunch too...

I have read lots of suggestions on-line, but I think think that mostly they occupy time until the plateau resolves on it's own. I went through a 6 week plateau and nothing but time seemed to help. Also, take an honest look at your plan and make sure that any bad habits haven't slipped in over time...

And my experience was just to stick with it and it will change. I've been on maintenance for 3 1/2 years now and please know, the key for me to keeping my weight off has been to continue doing the things that I did in order to lose the weight..

I still weigh & measure all my food, make sure my meals are balanced with the right amount of carbs, proteins & fats, get regular exercise and stay away from alcohol except for very special occasions.

I even track my food with the new iPhone Nutrisystem APP whenever possible...or at least close enough to give me an estimated picture of what I'm eating..

The point is this: what you are doing now is developing life long behaviours and so an extra week or two at a plateau is really no big deal. Just keep doing all the right things and the weight will come off...

Hey there! I found adding exercise kind of stalled my loss out for about 2-3 weeks. Building muscle not only weighs more, but you retain more water to help heal and build the muscles you are working. So give it a little longer, and your body should start to catch up with itself again...

Thanks everyone! Those are all really wonderful suggestions. I think I will re-evaluate, make adjustments, keep exercising, and just keep on keepin' on! I do feel better and feel like I look better in clothes so I'll use that as my judge for now and focus less ont he actual numbers. Thanks again!..
