Your question was: Subway foods that are ok for Nutrisystem?.

Kids turkey on wheat. No cheese/mayo and as many veggies as they'll let you put on. I also usually get a veggie salad as well (no meat as there's enough on the sandwich)...

This is what I always get there, too. They have avocado now that you can have if you skip your dinner fat. And they also have apple slices...

I usually just get a turkey flatbread with honey mustard dressing, no cheese, and lots of veggies. I'm losing and haven't had any problems. I think anything on their light menu is fine...

The flatbread is 30 calories higher than the wheat bread. And even that at 6 inches is 210 calories. So this is likely to be too high calorie for an Nutrisystem equivalent lunch. Maybe for dinner. Or only eat half the bread. That's why I get the kid's meal turkey...

It has fewer carbs though which is why I pick it instead of the 6 inch bread...

It has the exact same carb count, and I'm not so sure the flatbread is a low GI carb (though I'm sure the wheat bread is)...

It sounds potentially appropriate as a dinner but way too high for a lunch. Although I suppose you could flip the mealtimes and then have a Nutrisystem lunch for dinner...

Right, that is what I was getting at. And when you flip your lunch and dinner, make sure you still have your protein serving with your lunch in the evening...

Whoops. Sorry about that, I quoted the wrong person/post...

Comment #9 wait! Subway has a kids meal?? *facepalm* I can have my Subway again!..

You definitely won't miss the extra bread, either! It seems like a HUGE portion...

No idea they had a kids menu! Thanks..guess Subway wins over 5 Guys tomorrow and I stay ontrack!!! THANK YOU..

Subway Kids Meal Turkey Breast on 9 grain wheat..

As a lunch.

190 Calories, 2.5 g fat, 31 g carb, 12 g protein, 610 mg sodium. No cheese, mayo, avo, or olives. No dressings unless they are fat free. The mustard, the honey mustard, the red wine vinaigrette, the sweet onion sauce, and the vinegar are all free foods in moderation. Or you could save some dressing from your salad and put a bit on the sandwich..

You could have a Subway salad and have some protein in it a couple of ounces of ham or turkey). 2 tablespoons of red wine vinaigrette or your own FF dressing. They also have apple slices you can use instead of a veggie serving...

That is awesome! When I have a subway sandwich it is usually loaded with veggies and no sauces or dressings...thank you so much!..
