Ok it's day 9 and my question is should we eat/finish our meals if we are not hungry.

I eat around my work schedule.

Breakfast 7am hungry.

Lunch 11 not hungry today.

Snack 2pm.

Dinner 5.

Snack 8 pm.

Bed 10pm.

Eat up. The "not hungry" complainers always come back later having cheated. Get used to eating a LOT of veggies. Log it as exercise...

Good advice above from Pam and Poly! Remember also that you can switch the order in which you eat the meals and also spread out a meal rather than eating it all at once. But do eat everything, sometime during the day. And.

Don't forget the water...

I was wondering the same thing. Can I just eat the meals? Do I have to eat every single extra each day. I hate most vegetables and am realy struggling to eat something besides lettuce and carrots. Will I still lose if I eat less?..

Not only will you NOT lose, katie, but, worse, you won't get the essential calories and nutrients that you absolutely need for good health. The additional foods are mandatory, not optional...

I'm not a big vegetable eater myself, so in order to get my veggies in, I've learned to tolerate low sodium v8 juice..works great for me. Good luck...

Katie-I do feel for you about the veggies. I have found that most who don't like them have the same complaints. It is usually the way they are fixed. Have you tried roasting your veggies? or a broth sautee? Do you combine some? are you trying new ones? think about the difference between canned vegetables and fresh or frozen. Summer is coming and farmer's markets are starting to show up. If you are in the city, fresh produce hopefully will be a bit more affordable as the weather improves.

It is too frustrating to defeat yourself by not following the plan. Talk to a counselor. This is an easy plan to follow. I had to force myself to eat everything the first month-now I am looking at my plan book all the time to see what is next! I was eating cans of green beans with non butter spray, which I love, but once I tried roasting then that became my method of choice. I roast nearly all my veggies now..
