Hey Everyone!.

Just wondering if anyone had tried shirataki noodles??? I know there are regular ones and then ones made with added tofu. Are either of these on-plan? Are they tasty? Before Medifast, I think I may have been addicted to noodles But seriously, if I could find a healthy, on-plan alternative, I would be one happy MFer..

I have not tried them, but I heard you need to rinse them very very well to get rid of the fishy taste/smell. I believe they would count as your green. I think you're best bet is to just search like MT_Cup suggested...

Thanks everybody! Might try them in a stir-fry sometime. Worth a try. Although, the smell and taste of fish revolts me, so I don't know.....

I make shrimp alfredo with them. That helps a lot with the smell. Also, if you rinse them thoroughly and do the microwave "dry", that greatly reduces the fishiness. I rinse for about 2 min under cold running water, nuke and then rinse again (in a colander). This seems to remove all or almost all of the smell. At least they don't taste like the smell!..

On a cold night I put them in some broth with some garlic,a piece of ginger, a dash of soy sauce, (add additional of daily green in spinach and a little bit of mushrooms) - very satisfying. I eat my lean separate and if an additional fat is needed, I can add some LC Garlic and Herb to the soup. Warm, satisfying, and filling on a cold Winter's night...

I bought some from I don't find them especially fishy. I rinse them well and dry them in a frying pan before adding anything to them..

I like to add OP ranch dressing, 1 T of parmesan cheese and garlic powder. yummy comfort food...
