First question I got is Reading an article about Dukan Diet induced obesity prevents intersitial dispersion of insulin in sk Many thanks for any comment. Another question... In my first auto delivery Dukan Diet picked the food and I wound up with 4 packets of chicken salad. It was okay but I was kind of over it. So today, I decided to dress it up a bit..

I had a few bags of shredded cabbage in the fridge (both the type you use for cole slaw and the purple stuff). I used about a cup of that mix, added the chicken salad to it, put some red pepper flakes in, and then added a tablespoon of raisins (as one of my fruits). I mixed it all up and it was a great combo. The sweetness of the raisin is nice with the touch of hot pepper. But, if your not a hot pepper fan, I am sure you could leave it out just as well or experiment with other add ins..

No need for the melbas that you are allowed with the chicken salad so I was able to save them for later and have them with some low fat cheese as a snack...

Good question... I dunno what is the answer to that question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I got an answer. You should email the people at Dukan Diet as they probably could answer your Dukan Diet question..

Ohhhh these ideas are great! I was never a big fan of the chicken salads. I know heating isn't necessary for this entree, but has anyone ever tried heating them? If so, how'd it turn out? (I usually prefer warm entrees overall.)..

I take my Chicken or Tuna salad, put it in a bowl. I add my low-fat shredded cheddar cheese serving and mix. I then form it into a burger shape, dust the top and bottom with bread crumbs and "fry" in a hot non-stick skillet I have sprayed with non-stick spray. You can add anything else you want to the mixture. Before I started doing this, I hated the Chicken and Tuna. If was to "wet" for my taste.

You could put it on a wheat roll if you wanted, but I just put it on a plate and enjoy. With a salad, it is a good lunch...

I didn't get home till late for fixing lunch today. So this is what I did:.

I made a large salad using romaine hearts & baby spinach. I added grape tomatoes, onion, sliced mushrooms, grapes & the chicken salad. It was very good...

I'm going to try all those..

I had never ordered the chick salad until last month (and I've been doing it a year)..

I took the chicken salad (chilled in fridge for a day) and added chopped up half apple (from dinner), crumbled my allotted pecans (fat), some chopped celery and dumped it on a bowl of lettuce, stirred it up. I don't like Melba, but those Dukan Diet friendly Wasa crackers were yummy...

I did this and it tasted great! I served it w/ some homemade coleslaw(prepackaged slaw, ff mayo, red wine vinegar, splenda, salt&pepper) as my salad. Question do you flip them over w/o creating one huge mess? When I tried flipping them, it was still like gooeven though the side down had already turned a nice brown...

You may need to add more cheese, or a little bread crumbs to the mix. Or when I first used them to make a sandwich, I put the chicken or tuna salad in a fine mesh strainer so it was'nt so liquid. I like my tuna/chicken salad on the drier side. Glad you enjoyed...
