My question is Products that have the Nutrisystem POINTS value on the box? Many thanks for any answer or 2. Another question I got... I don't know how to post the link from my email to here, so I will just retype the info minus the beautiful pictures!!.

This is a method that my whole family uses! It is fun and works PERFECT!.

Regular instructions:.

Quart size ziplock bag.

2 large eggs.

Fillings (any that floats your boat).

Get a large pot of water boiling...............fill your bags with 2 eggs (I write family's name on the top of each bag) and let each person put what they want in their omelette bag. Zip the bag and squeeze all the ingredients around until completely mixed. When mixed let the air out of the bag and put the bag in the boiling water for 13 minutes. No shorter time or no longer time, 13 minutes will work perfectly..

The cool thing is that everyone can sit down to eat their omelette's at the same time. Not one at a time to get to eat it hot!.

After the 13 minutes you take the bags out of the water, cut, with scissors, the top of the bags off and roll the omlette out on a plate..

I PROMISE this will work like a charm!! TRY IT, and let me know!.

My Omelette this morning:.

NS powdered eggs.

1 egg white.

Laughing cow cheese (my protein).

Onions.

I had an omelette with 1/2 a bananna for breakfast. I am totally satisfied!..

We have done this for years and my kids and I love it now as much as before NS.

Best thing is you can pre-make them and keep in fridg for the week and pop them in and away you go!..

That sounds great!!! I live alone but I can make up a couple bags so that I have them in the refrigerator for the week!!! If I make a bunch on Sunday, do you think they will be good all week?? Not sure how long something like that will be ok before going bad............

I saw Paula Deen do this one day during her cooking show on Food Network, pretty nifty way to fix omelets for alot of people!..

Wow, hate to bring my "negativity" here, but as stated in another section with this same thread.....

Maker beware. Be sure you are buying bags that are labelled for cooking use. If you heat or cool a bag beyond it's listed capability, it will leech toxins into the food/beverage inside of it..

My suggestion, use bags intended for the "seal-a-meal" type machines. Yes, you need something that can seal their bags, but their bags are designed for sous-vide cooking. Which means you can boil the bags..

Don't take my word for it, do a search on plastic bags, even the makers of zip-loc say their bags are not meant for boiling...

I just saw the info in the other thread, with info from the makers of ziploc baggies themselves, so I guess I'll pass on the idea for now. Enough cancer causing things out there that I can't control, but this I can............ It's a great idea if there was a bag out there you could safely boil in...

I use a boil-in-bag not sure who makes them they are made for vegies..
