Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the answer to your question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I bump into an answer. You should email the people at Verisign as they probably could help you..
I dont understand what you mean.....
THe problem also occurs if I write the sales price manually. For example the regular price is 22.00. I do the calculations and end up with 20.00. I write this in, and the same thing happens in a different way. In "specials" the price is 20.00 as I want. But if I check where the product originally is (in it s category), the price is suddenly 23.92!.
Might there be a problem in the specials.php? If so, how do I fix this, what do I remove/replace?..
Sorry for the delay. What you need to do in specials is take your 20 and divide by 1.1 ( tax at 10% ) so 18.18 will be your figure in the special value. This should work :-)..
It doesnt work. It still shows different pricing..
Here is screenshots, and the one with the tested product with what you said, has a red ring around it..
So how do I Fix that the two places show the same price?..
That is very odd. Not what I thought was happening. It appears that one of the files has changed. If you have change some files then it could be a simple line error somewhere. Try and contact a guy Geoff on the forum or Nic - they are very knowlegable..
Do you happen to have their whole username? there are many with those names. Or a direct link to one of them..
I am guessing the same as you, that there is one error line some where in one of the files. I just dont know where to find or to fix.
Anyways, thanks for trying to help me out..
I am trying to add som specials. In the Specials section it shows the right price (in admin I took -10%). but if you go see the product under it's regular category, it shows a different price..
Seems like it takes 10% of sales price in Specials, and 10% off price before tax in the category section.....
Any idea how I can fix this?..
I had a similar problem which I solved by dividing the price by tax ( if the price is 50.00 then you divide it by 1 + tax ( 1.1 ) if tax is 10%) try it :-)..
