Hello there fellow teacher friends.....

I hope you are off today for another day of relaxation! Some schools in my area are making up a snow day today! BUT Phew, not our district!.

I put up a happy sign because lately I've been down in the dumps about things, life, school, stress..........things! So I though my goal this week is to NOT let this stuff get to me, let it roll off like a duck. I know this isn't a food related goal but eventually, when the mind is happy, I don't turn to food...........so that's my goal............

What's your goal this week?..

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the right answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I find an decent answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could give you help..

Hey there Barb~.

Thanks for listening to my venting. Typically I LOVE winter and embrace the snow but this year has been not so good for snow and lots of wind, freezing ice, and blah this year...not much accumulating snow!.

Friday was so warm here and it really go tme wanting spring to hurry (Punxsy Phil said it would be here sooner, hurry I say!).

Yeah, so far pretty good.......still feeling down today...even after going for a run.......humph!!! I did go to PetCo to buy the doggies lots of toys and chewies.....I don't want them to feel my pain!..

Hi Kris and Barb,.

I agree....time for winter to be gone! My energy level and mood is at a low...I'm in survival mode...trying to survive an hour at a time. While I was at a workshop this morning (preparing for annual reviews/writing goals) I missed one of my students getting sick, one wetting pants, and one pooping pants (our letter of the week is Pp: puke, pee, and poop: good job kids!).

Yesterday I was having them air write the letter P in their palms...they looked at me as if I were speaking Latin to them. So I grabbed a marker and demonstrateed on my own palm what they should do with their finger. Of course they wanted me to repeat on their palms, no harm, right? Did you know Crayola markers are not all washable? So, we all had P on our palms!My aides had a big laugh...so did I. So out came the pails of soapy water and shaving cream for our "sensory" activity. Amazingly, they recalled the name of the letter P today!.

OK, so now I'm just rambling...my goal this week is to try to make sure I eat...which I haven't been eating all my food..

Hang in there Kris and Barb. Spring is coming...I've been hearing robins...

Hey there Barb...I feel the same way you do....I'm in survival mode as well!! UGh...I am a bit better than last week though I will say!!.

Just signed up forNutrisystemtoday. I don't know how I am going to make it from a 6:30am breakfast to a 12:30pm lunch. That is too long for me!.

How do you make it to lunch? Do you sneak a snack during nutrition or split your lunch and eat half of it early?.

Hello there bp! Yesterday the above questions were posted and I was afraid we'd miss them so I cut and pasted them here!.

I will typically snack on fruit in the morning or some veggies...sometimes the morning times from 9-11 are the hardest (then it gets tough again for me from 4-6!)..

Hi all. I agree with those of you who are sick of winter! Last Friday the 18th, it was 70 degrees and then we got 8 inches of snow on Tuesday! I am ready for spring and warmer weather. I am seriously considering moving south!.

Have had a rough couple of weeks due to an anti-depressant I was taking and awful side effects. Have been offNutrisystemfor three weeks due to days when my head was splitting and I felt so nauseous I couldn't eat a thing and other days when I ate everything in sight. The dizziness, headaches and nausea are finally gone thanks to getting off the meds. Finally feel back on track and ready to kick butt again on NS..

I think snow make-up days were mentioned. Ugh. We have missed 7 days due to snow and ice so now in addition to 3 days off over the next few months that have been taken away, the kids' last day is June 17th and teachers go until June 22nd. I am so depressed. Summer can't come fast enough..

Sorry you had a rough time with the anti-depressant! Glad you are getting back on track. Ugh, that's a lot of snow days to make-up! Most of the bad weather we have gotten has hit on the weekend....tonight for example we have freezing rain..

I for one was so sad that I didn't get any snow days! It's been snowing off and on all week here, but not enough to stick. I'm a-ok with a paid day off to play in the snow!..
