My question is Nutrisystem e-source access code for Northern Ireland users? Thanks in advance for any response. Another question... Ok, this may seem like an odd question and I realize everyone's tastes are differnt, but I'm trying to decide if I want to switch to the 10/18 plan with the Select items. So, my question is......are their any Select Items that you don't like and why? Please be specific (too spicy, no flavor, etc.....).

I think most of the menu looks like something I would like excluding the shrimp entree which I will probably give away and the ice cream which I will just have to suffer through or let my daughter eat because I'm not much for ice cream and 10 days worth seems like a lot..

Thanks for any input on what you don't like......you can also post comments on what you do like too if you want. I just thought find out what people didn't like and why might be more helpful...

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I discover an useful answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably can help you..

I think as in everything (NutriSystem shelf-stable, restaurant menus, grocery store selections, add-ins, etc.), there are things some love that others detest and vice-versa. I think each person needs to make up their own minds about each individual item...

Thanks for the input. The only reason I ask is because if you switch I guess you can't come back to the plan you are on exactly as it is. So, with that said, I guess I'm trying to figure out if I want to even try it (which right now I think I do) or I want to not even attempt it due to the risk of losing what I have if I don't like it..

Thanks again for all the comments though!..

Was in the same dilemma Robin until I spoke to theNutrisystemcounselor who suggested I might want to try ordering something ala carte before changing my plan. DH and I are still pleased with the shelf products, so we may wait untilNutrisystemallows a little more flexibility and customization - expect they will offer that eventually. Good luck!..

Thanks Brenda! I was hoping they would allow a little more flexibility, so it sounds like maybe that will be coming. I've just heard so many good things abour the select that I was wondering if it really was that good that most people really loved it or if there were any who didn't really care for it. I guess from the lack of responses that people can't complain......that's a good thing. I'm still not sure what I will do, but I will probably call and get the full information from them and then decide...

I will let you know if I dislike anything, as I am STILL waiting for my select food. I ordered at the end of Dec. Got my shelf stable stuff almost 2 weeks ago, and am still waiting on my frozen. Finally called yesterday, and they are saying the 14th. If it doesn't come soon, I am going to be getting my next order before my first delivers. GRRRR....its frustrating..

Robin, I think you can now order the 10-day select package a la carte - so maybe you try that before switching your plan. I have been on the Select plan since I started in May (after being onNutrisystemseveral years ago, before there was a Select plan). I can tell you that for me, Select is the reason that I have been able to stick toNutrisystemfor as long as I have. There simply aren't enough of the shelf stable foods that I like to give me the variety I need. As for the frozen foods, I eat all of them, although of course, there are some that I like more than others. For breakfast, I'm not a huge fan of the omelet, but I add some seasoning and it's ok (I just think fresh eggs/egg whites are better).

As for the lunches (and keep in mind, I haven't tried any of the new Select foods yet) - I love love love the ham and cheese, and like everything else - most of the entrees are similar to "hot pockets." My least favorite is probably the chicken fajita lunch - but I still enjoy it. Just an odd consistency to the chicken. And I like all the dinners. As for the ice cream, the fudge bars and ice cream sandwiches are terrific. The ice cream sundaes are just fair - just not a "real" ice cream taste..

Definitely order a la carte first. I started with the Select plan and dislike so many of the foods, that I went back to the basic plan. I gave a lot of the food to my husband (who will eat anything). In the past, it was so much more expensive to order the frozen food, that (to me) it wasn't worth the cost for the few items I did like. I thought all of the ice creams tasted artificial and the Alfredo meals turned me off completely.....that being said, there are lots of people who love this food. At least trying a la carte give you the opportunity to decide before making the plan change...

Thank you all for sharing. Definitely some things to think about before I make my decision, but then that is exactly what I was looking for....honest answers so I would know what I needed to think about, ask, and consider before making my final decision. I think the price I'm currently paying is almost exactly what this new price is, so I'm not sure I'm losing anything trying; however, if the basic plan is now higher than I might have a problem converting back..

I really wish they would make an ala carte option for just lunches or just dinners and you could switch them out for the self stable. I'm not sure I'm really interested in the ice cream because I almost never ate ice cream before and love the self options. In addition, I'm the same with breakfasts, I love the self options. I just really what some of the lunch and dinner options are on the select...
