Your question was: New Nutrisystem Food.

Biscuits and gravy? Oh, that's really helping people learn how to eat right...

Im still hoping the bring back the dinner time pot roast. I was my favorite. May it rest in peace...

LOL. Not sure how it's gonna turn out, but considering I'm a fan of the regular version, I'm really anxious to try it. I look at it the way I look at other foods on their menu....chocolate cake, pizza, burger, cookies, candy bars. Typically fatty foods, but Nutrisystem found a way to make it health conscious. Of course, they're not as tasty as the regulars , but not bad when you actually lose weight while eating their versions...

I get the beef w/ mashed potatoes. If seasoned right, it's not half bad at all...

I am waiting to see what those biscuits and gravy looks like. I keep thinking a couple of big fluffy biscuits smothered in gravy but it will probably be more like the size of a 50 cent piece with a tablespoon of gravy..

With all the time I spent in the south, I have never brought myself to try biscuits and gravy. Never looked appealing to me. Of course, I remember one of my co-workers who thought it was oatmeal, took a bowl full and then complained it tasted strange..

I could go for some grits...

LOL!! Kinda how I felt when I opened that package with the cinnamon roll in least the flavor was good...all two bites worth..

I don't see how it's not. I view it as a challenge to make my favourite foods healthy. Why should I have to give up eating cheesecake and cookies and such just because I don't want to be fat?.

I suppose Nutrisystem should just tell us all to eat steamed chicken and salad to teach us good eating habits...

Yes, but they are very ... dense, so they take awhile to chew. I frowned at them the first time and thought they were not very good, but now I like them and choose them often. They are small but you feel like you have eaten when they're gone...

^^ LOL. Those two comments are so funny on sooo many levels. I'm just wondering what the nutritional value will be in those and even if they manage, the taste will have to suffer greatly as we all know biscuits & gravy have some serious calories...

You have a point *smile*, but when I saw the package, the old fat girl on my shoulder (who wears the devil horns and whispers in my ears sometimes ) had visions of Cinnabon dancing in her head..

Truth be known though, the warmed up cinnamon roll along w/ a half of grapefruit and a mini eggbeater omelet was really a satisfying breakfast and was plenty to eat and I too will be ordering them again, they really are good. Nutrisystem is teaching me that food doesn't need to be the size of my head to fill me up!..

I for one would love to see biscuits and gravy. Even though I am in MN now...I am from the south and B&G is one of my downfalls. There is no where up here in the north where you can get a good plate of B&G. Yes grant it I am sure it won't be the same w/NS, but if you close your eyes...and pretend....I am sure I will be able to taste the homestyle southern flavors I covet!..

That's exactly what I was picturing when Birdie said that. What a dissapointment those were!..

Looking at my Nutrisystem book...I noticed several meals were missing that are posted on the internet. It's time Nutrisystem update their pages for those of us who like to take notes on paper.

I am glad to see that they are adding new foods some people will enjoy..

Anyway I vote for GRITS over biscuits and gravy anyday...

A lot of those old items are still available at Big Lots...

I think the secret to the cinnamon bun is to warm it (I do 30 seconds at 50% power), then peel the bun and eat it slowly. When I unroll the entire bun, it takes me a few minutes to eat it all...
