Quick question: Need help on Dukan Diet and Football read the rest for description? Looking forward for any response. My 2nd question... Hi, I have been looking at various recipe sites that call for single serving cookware, especially for baking the pancake mix or for Dukan Diet on your own recipes, like Christina Gray's recipes. All I can find is a $18 Le Creuset 8oz casserole. Can anyone please recommend some less expensive pans? I have little custard dishes that are used for cream brulee, but I think they are two low, the sides are less than an inch high. I need two, so I can cook for my husband and myself.

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I bump into an answer. You should email the people at Dukan Diet as they probably could assist you..

I have 1 cup and 2 cup size pyrex glass dishes with lids. straight sides. 1 cup is a little under 2 in. and 2 cup a little over. Bought them at Walmarts. I think they came in sets...

I like that also Birdie, thanks!.

I also bought some from Christina Gray for her "Christina's Creations"..

I use 16 oz. and 15 oz. corningware baking dishes. They were inexpensive, and I got two at Target and one at Walmart...

I've found items in Big Lots, the supermarket, Bed, Bath and Beyond, etc. At a store called the Great Indoors I've found ramekins in about 6 different sizes...

I've been obsessed with single-serve dishes and I look for them everywhere - I found some nice ones at a hardware store in Seattle, of all places, and very inexpensive and also at Goodwill or Salvation Army you can find lots of mismatched pieces. I found the cutest little heart-shaped ramekin for $.50 last week, and some 14-16 oz ones for $.99. Check also Ross, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls (all owned by the same parent company) and the TJ Maxx Home Goods store as well. Big Lots and the 99 stores too. Target has the small metal springform, bundt and loaf pans with their other baking trays and muffin tins. What's nice about the corningware type is it can go in the microwave as well as the oven.

I buy the `disposable`aluminum cookware. Truth is you can use it many times and it is fully recyclable. I hate clutter so this works very well for me...

Thanks for all the responses - I did find some individual springforms in Williams Sonoma's catalogue, so I will trek to the store, as well as Target to find what I need...

You might want to check out Michaels Craft stores for the individual springforms. That's where I found mine. They're probably a lot cheaper there then Williams Sonoma...

Cooking.com has all sorts of mini bakeware. Some are currently on sale...

I saw some mini-stoneware loaf pans at Walgreens for $1...

I bought 2 single-serve bundt pans at Target for $5. They are nonstick...

Great tip! Thanks! I just baked tomorrow morning's breakfast spice muffin (made from the pancake mix, no fruit added, just spice and sweetener) in one of the mini-bundt pans from Target, that I bought today along with a mini-springform, a set of three round mini-cake pans, and a set of two mini-angelfood cake pans. My nearest Target didn't have any mini-loaf pans but I did find two ceramic ones for only $1 each at the Walgreens across the parking lot from it and I can use them in the microwave OR the toaster oven..

I'm going to love using these!..

I found some at the Dollar Store and they look just like the Corning Ware and are 8 oz and 16 oz sizes for $1 each..

I use them every day...

Okay, so here's my problem - there are "Dollar Tree", "99 Store", "Family Dollar" etc. and each store has a different kind of merchandise. I get all excited and run to the one nearest me (99 Store), and they don't have these great items everyone mentions. Since you capitalized Dollar Store, is that the store's official name? I always look, and I'm going to Walgreens today to see if I can find those crockery loaf pans, as I'm very interested in something that can be both oven and microwave-safe..

I also use different size ramekins (little white dishes with fluted sides)..

They come in convenient 1c size which we use for AM yogurt since it measures without measuring...Or you can bake in them in either the oven or the microwave..

I also use pyrex bowls - particularly for the AM Paul's Bundt cake or whatever variation of that I am making on a particular day. I can mix & then bake right in the same bowl..

I've found small cheesecake like pans...all sorts of things!.

I do splurge and go to Kitchen Kaboodle but found the pyrex at Bed, Bath & Beyond..

The local Dollar Store (called the Dollar Store in Portland) has a variety of little pans as well. But their stuff tends to come & go & change so you've got to be opportunistic when shopping there...
