My first question is: Just bought my domain name at godaddy, now what?.

My next question is: Would like to know how much would such a site with 1 million uniques/month & high 6 Figure Income yearly sell for ?

Alexa rank - less than 15,000.

Any ideas..

Your question was: Just bought my domain name at godaddy, now what?.

Hm, why would you sell it if it was doing that well? I certainly wouldn't.. tho I'm assuming you don't actually own such a site!..

Well sites go from as little as 12 months revenue to as much as 10 years revenue or more, so by that you'd get high $xxx, xxx to high $x,xxx, xxx ...

I don't see how that works, I know of a site I built for a client that was ranked 10,000 in alexa and had 20k uniques a day. That's a lot less than 1million a month and higher ranked..

Alexa ranks gives you an approximative number of unique visits and is based on Alexa toolbar principally. Is working better on English site than others, but it's only an approximate value ;(..

1. I wouldn't sell it..

2. If it's gotta be sold, I'd ask for 10 years revenue...

Revenue and traffic are only one way of judging a site's quality. Much more important is it's longetivity, it's position in it's own niche, how much brand value the site has...

If the revenue is constant then X 10 ...

Ps. Stop trying to tell my sites, - Rep..

Alexa ranking can be faked very easily.. I would never base a value on Alexa without checking into it further...

A few sites which I owned had 600,000 alexa even though I know no one but myself visited them while designing!..

Is that the best ? Or try for 20X revenues ? What do you mean ?

I value Alexa stats right up there with many of the other fine random number generators. (that means I view Alexa as a toy at best) I would say 10+ years projected earnings for that level of quality, and yes, 20 years might be a better figure to talk about at this level of quality...

I agree with this, longevity is very important. Also the history of the site would play a role too(how long has it been producing these numbers?)and growth rate. GL..

Depends on...

Domain name itself.

Market sector.

Source of income.

Expense.

Time spent managing site.

Potential buyers.

You may be able to get 20x yearly revenue or more if....

Most site revenues are from affiliate income from CompanyX..

You are getting 5% commissions.

CompanyX may pay top $ for your site...
