I'm very new, but did have this problem yesterday. Somehow my cache got a version of the product without the image. To fix, I disabled the cache, reloaded the image (with a slightly different name), then re-enabled the cache. That fixed it for me...
Thanks, Roger. I was hopeful that your solution might be our solution too. However, we currently have Cache / Use Cache set to "false" (because our Verisign site is still in development). So I don't think (?) that our problem could be a cache problem..
I noticed when googling around yesterday (outside the forum) that a couple of others have reported this exact same image-display problem in recent weeks...
Ta-da! Yes, this was exactly the problem. We removed the apostrophes from the "Products Name" field, and now the images are displaying properly. Thanks, germ!..
For some of our products, the product image is displayed in the product listing (for example, New Products listing), but the image is not displayed on the product's own description page..
