I had two weeks OP without losing around the same time (unless you count gaining then losing TOM weight). So for 1 week I did 100carbs/1000 cals and then I started losing. Maybe you just need to shake up your metabolism. I know it feels unbearable. You start questioning everything and it just plain stinks thinking about how much you could have lost in those weeks based on how OP you've been. Keep pushing forward until the end, the scale WILL move, have faith...
Have you added exercise yet? That helps. I had a little mini-stall a week ago and I added light walking and did a couple of days of shakes only (plus L&G) and it kicked me back into a loss..
Also look at your water intake-if it is borderline-enough maybe a few more cups a day?.
Stick with it and good luck!..
Are you doing any exercise? Id say if you only have 40lbs left and your not you might try to incorporate some walking like 3 times a week...
Stress elevates cortisol, which can lead to water retention, which masks actual weight loss. So in short, yes. Have you noticed a change in your measurements?..
If you are at the same weight, then you aren't gaining.
While I haven't had any weeks where I've had *no* weight loss, I have had three in a row of only 1 pound lost each week. I decided to be extra diligent about being OP. I also made sure I was drinking no less than 64 oz of water, but pushed for 110 oz. I also watched my sodium (I do love my salt). In the two weeks where I really upped the water and cut back on salt, I lost TEN pounds.
Really be honest with yourself on what your water intake is. Don't count sodas or coffee or the Medifast shakes/drinks in your water calculations. I put flavor infusers in some of my water. I did either the calorie burn or antioxidants. ONE packet for 32 oz of water (I find them too sweet otherwise). To keep myself honest with my water intake, I have three 32 oz bottles and two 20 oz bottle that I rotate in and out of my fridge so I always have cold water prepared. I log it immediately on my food log so I don't lose count...
Less you have to lose longer it will take and I'm sure if you stick out it will come off! Condiments you ise a lot..
Thanks for all the thoughts. I'm not a salt person, so the only "sodium" I really get is in the Medifast meals - the veggies are fresh and I don't add any salt to my "leans". But, I think I should start doing some walking. I am monitoring my water - I have a liter bottle and drink three of them a day (whatever that is in ounces!). I'm just glad to hear from you - and that this has happened to others (why do I always think it's just so hard for me!). I'll keep going...sooner or later it's going to work.
At least my husband thinks I'm doing great - I think he thinks he's 20 again!.
Again, thanks for the responses!.
