First off, Is Nutrisystem worth the money? Thanks for any comment. Another question... Today is the end of 5 years. Five years of being on this plan every single day. Five years out of 62 years on earth...and some of the best years of my whole life..

Yesterday, the results of these incredible 5 years of reinventing myself were realized in one incident:.

My 70 year old hubby and I were joyfully walking over 3 miles on a trail in the San Francisco Bay area. We passed a family and the father was encouraging one of the young (8 years old or so) boys to get up off the ground and come on and finish their walk. I spoke to them as we went by and heard the father say just before we got out of earshot "Now, see, there is a very fit woman!".

ME? A "very fit woman"?!!.

ME? Who used to weigh 230 pounds and wouldn't have walked more than the ten steps into the front of a restaurant when hubby dropped me off before he parked the car!.

ME? Who would have thought that a 3 mile hike up and down hills would be the worst torture imaginable!.

ME? Who thought that french fries were the reason for living!.

ME! A Very Fit Woman!!.

Thank you, NutriSystem, for the last 5 years. Here's to many, many more!..

That is awesome, Pam. You have been such an inspiration to so many during those 5 yearsincredible! I am still amazed when I hear someone describe me as that "little woman" over thereI am only 5'3" so with weight loss I guess I am "little" but still hard to imagine it sometimes. Your description of getting out at the door of the restaurant, hiking being torture, etc. so described me it was spooky! I wish you many more great years that you will enjoy with quality because of the hard work you have done!..
