Got a question... Is Nutrisystem really worth it? Thanks for any response. Another question I got... I am on my 5th day of Nutrisystem. I know it works because it did for me years ago. I am 5'10" and weigh 176 trying to lose 20-25.

Today and yesterday I snuck in some extra chocolate and really a few beers since I miss that so much. My cals are averaging 1700-2000 a day. I usually exercise about 45 min a day..

So long story shortI KNOW I am taking in WAY less cals than I was before. My eating habits overall are amazing compared to before! I lost 1.5 lbs in these 5 days but am afraid since I am not sticking with the 1200-1500 cals that it will slow down!.

The only thing that has helped a little (I usually am up 5a to 11pm and lose my resolve about 10p am hungry) is eating 1/2 of my dinner at dinner time and saving the other 1/2 until about 8pm..

Does anyone else have other tips, suggestions, in the same boat, etc??? Help! I know water is important but I am VERY bad about drinking it...I drink a lot of ( very weak) black coffee during the day to get my liquids and sometimes hot chocolate (only 1/4 a package at a time)...

You betcha! but... you might wanna make sure and wait for another person to confirm this as I am not very confident. Better yet, why don't you e-mail the Nutrisystem guys because they can give you help better...

Well I guess the end of this first work I had a bad attitude like "I already gave up pepsi, flavored coffee, my beloved burritos, etc...." but I am coming to realize it is a lifestyle. Chocolate and beer are going to be the hardest, but I will try not to do extra chocolate off theNutrisystemplan and maybe cut back on beer or get the 55 cal ones! I like my beer for relaxation before bed! I did lose a bit more on the scale today and that helped put my attitude back in check. Thanks for your reality check reply about eating bad got us here in the first place! That is so true. Thanks!..

Any and all efforts you put in your weight loss plan will pay off if you stick to it. Remember that food is fuel for the body. It is not what tastes great! It is what you supply your tank with. You can do this. Quitters never win. {And winners....ALWAYS....LOSE! I mean the WEIGHT!}.

Welcome back!!!.

From my thinking, once you get to your goal & maintain it IS ok in indulging every once in a while with a beer or chocolate. We didn't gain this weight overnight, we have to make sacrafices now for our future result. If it takes 6 months without a beer or chocolate to get to where you want to be, so be it. It's not the end of the world right? 20-25 lbs is not alot and won't take forever if you do the program right and dedicate yourself..

Thanks everyone! One thing I have to realize is I MUST not skip the fruits and veggies! I am feeling stronger and already losing and all of your support helps! Thanks again...I WILL do it. I am motivated!..

Follow the plan. Eat the unlimited veggies when you want a snack. Save your dessert until after 10 PM. DRINK YOUR WATER!!!.

The plan works, but you have to follow it. There is never a need to be hungry because you can always have crunchy fresh veggies for a crunchy snack. I like cut up cucumbers dipped in FF ranch dressing. You'll find what works for you!..

Can't help you with the beer cause I don't drink it, but as far as the chocolate I am with you 100%. Make sure you order the candy bars for dessert. There is one that tastes just like Snickers. I always make sure I have plenty of those. (Can't think of what they call it at the moment, but you'll know it when you see it). Also, sugar free hard candy helps me. Hang in there!..
