Quick question... Is Dukan Diet soda really better than Regular soda? Thanks in advance for any response. Another quick question... I have a Dukan Diet flex planner that details the following guidelines for a flex lunch for a female under 40:.
So I did the following to create a Dukan Diet friendly chicken pie:.
I dissolved a low sodium chicken bouillon cube in 1 cup of boiling water and then added in 1/2 cup chopped frozen carrots (1/2 veggie) and 1/2 cup frozen green beans (1/2 veggie), and 1/2 cup frozen green peas (1 carb)..
I let all that simmer with 1 clove of garlic and then I added some thyme, rosemary, onion powder, black pepper, chives, oregano, and basil..
Finally, after all that was smelling so delicious, I added 2 oz. of canned white chicken meat (1 protein). I really wish I had some real chicken, but I didn't so that's how I made do. I was worried about the sodium content with the bouillon and the canned chicken, so I did rinse off the chicken before I added it..
While all that was simmering, I brushed some olive oil (1 fat) over a whole wheat tortilla (1 carb) and put that in the toaster until it got crisp on the edges (although still slightly pliable in the middle). When it was done, I put the tortilla in a bowl and tried to fit the shape of the bowl and then I added 1 slice of LF provolone cheese on top of the tortilla (1 protein) and then ladled on the chicken mixture..
It was DELICIOUSperfect for a chilly, rainy day!! And you can easily control how "soupy" you want it with the amount of liquid you add..
I could also see doing this with an Arnold's sandwich thin to get the "real" chicken pie feel with crust on the bottom and top...
Yup, but... you might want to make sure and wait for another person here to confirm this as I am unsure of myself. Better yet, why don't you ask the Dukan Diet guys because they can give you help better...
I know! I was surprised myself. I had been going by the guidelines on here for exchanges (i.e. 1 carb) and today was the first day I actually looked at the stats in the planner they sent (by chance), but sure enough there are 2 carb boxes. I think you could easiliy omit the peas though if you weren't sure about the extra carb...
In the Dukan Diet on your own guidelines for weekends off it states 2 carbs for women over 40, under 40 get 1 carb. Who knows.

I wonder if they've changed it or if I have a bad meal planner...I will have to ask the dietitian...This is the meal planner I have is for the flex program (dated 01/2009)..

That planner says WEEKEND DAY. Is it different for a week day?..
I wonder what plan she is on I have a different flex day planner..
The plan I am on is through QVC and it's the equivalent of the flex plan. 5 days on Dukan Diet and 2 days off. So the "weekend" is a day off, but it doesn't matter which day you do as an "off" day..
I'm pretty much on Dukan Diet nearly all the days, but right now I'm out of food, so I'm using the flex plan guidelines until my shipment arrives...
It does look a litle low on veg at lunch compared to the 2009 plan...
