First question I got is In the Nutrisystem point system, do I have to meet my daily requirement? Thanks in advance for any answer or 2. Another question on my mind: Here's a question I've always wondered. How do you know what your frame size is? I'm 5'10". So then what? How do you figure from there? ok that's 3 questions...

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I bump into an good answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could answer your Nutrisystem question..

I know what you mean...I always thought I had a medium to large frame since my shoulders are broad (for a chick). But no such luck...can't use the "but I'm big-boned" excuse anymore...

Body fat % is a good way to figure how much weight you have left to lose as well...

Just get a body fat measurement done. Or post near naked photos. Camera does not lie. mirror can lie...but not the camera...

I always clamed "large frame". I was fooling myself. Could probably go sub 180 if I really wanted to, depending on muscle. Just trying to get back to sub 190 now..

I am a fat arse. But I am also truly big boned. When I left the army back in 95 I was 220 lbs but had a 32" waist. I am only 5'9". I can not buy a watch as my wrists are huge and that has been true since my junior year in high school. I also have never been able to buy full length Doc Martin boots.



But I am not taking away from the fact I am fat. Cause I am certainly that...

Eh, I try not to get too caught up in terms and measurements and theories..

I'm 5' 11" tall and shaped like a pear. I've always been shaped like a pear..

I'm still too fat and need to lose another 20-25 lbs and I'm working on it after a fair start with NS..

I'd guess I'm "maybe" a medium framedefinitely not large framed..

Then again, with more weight to lose, I'm not sure that matters much to me.

My wrists are 6 7/8 which is off the charts for women, so I can say I am big boned. But I'm also 5'3".

So I'm short and stocky... Think brick wall.....

I think Body fat is the best way to gauge where you need to be. My lean body mass (everything minus fat) = 125-130 pounds. So I can calculate out that at 20% fat (which is athletic for a female at 40yo) would put me at 150-155 or so. That is how I came up with my goal weight........

Hmm apparently I'm on the high side of medium according to the wrist measurements. I always fancied myself as a large frame primarily since my rib cage (at least to me) seem larger than most and wider. I may have also just been fooled by the lard. Oh well. Guess we'll know when Im done..

Gordo just going off the pictures I would of pegged you as a large frame, but that could just be the massive guns...

With all due respect .... I'm fairly certain that you may not be getting a very accurate reading on your wrist size being 5'3" and nearly 230 pounds - and your goal weight is about 25-30 pounds too high as well...

Body fat is hard to measure for very fat people (the woman above). She may be a little stockier than normal but I highly DOUBT that she has 130 lean body mass. EVen very muscular men at 5-3 (think wrestlers, gymnasts, bodybuilder) are unlikely to be 130 LBM..

I think what will happen is that the lady will get to 160 and then realize she needs to go lower (etc.) She might have an extra 5 (or 10 at the most) muscle and bone compared to another woman of same hieght. No way, she has 30+ pounds more LBM. But the camera does not lie. Bikini pic at 160 will show the truth. At that point, nothing wrong with just keeping going to 130 (where she should end up)...

LOL... you guys are funny and you may be right. I havn't been 160 pounds for 20 years. When I hit goal I'll post a pic......

My sister is a police officer, is training for a fitness compatition and is 160-170.... At less than 20% body fat. She is a few inches taller than me, but I was more muscular that her until she started lifting everyday...
