Quick question: I,m running xp/what is and how do I enable Verisign SSL,please help!? Looking forward for any comment. 2nd question I got is.. I could use some help with this one. I am trying to remove the whitespace on this page between the header and the body info..

Http://onlinecdkey.c.../promotions.php.

You see where it says Promotions in gray. That whole area could go, moving the html information up against the header.. is what I'd like..

The code on the page is from cat>includes>languages>english>promotions.php.

<?php.

/*.

$Id: promotions.php,v 1.4 2002/11/19 01:48:08 dgw_ Exp $.

Define('NAVBAR_TITLE', 'Promotions');.

Define('HEADING_TITLE', 'Promotions');.

Define('TEXT_INFORMATION',.

'<html> Body code is here but I removed it so this box wouldn't be so big.

</html>.

');.

?>.

Is there a way to remove this whitespace without it effecting the rest of the Verisign website pages?.

Any help would be appreciated..

Thanks!..

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer to that question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I find an decent answer. You should email the people at Verisign as they probably could answer your Verisign question..

Comment #1

Humm ya I see that in the source code. Do you know what file that relates to?..

Comment #2

Yes.

I see that.

I mean is this a issue from the stylesheet.css file? All the webpages on the Verisign site have that same area of white space just in other pages it usually has something in it that don't make it look like ass..

Http://onlinecdkey.com/index/faqs.php.

Http://onlinecdkey.c...games-c-21.html.

Etc...

Just wondering what file is telling that page to display that way? Its not the cat>includes>languages>english>promotions.php I'm not super oscommerce literate...

Comment #3

If this image wasn't blank, you'd have something there:.

/index/images/table_background_specials.gif..

Comment #4

Alrighty I'm looking at this. So there are 2 promotions.php files in my system. One is located at catalog>promotions.php and the other down in the english file..

I'm looking at the code in the top promotions.php file. located at catalog>promotions.php.

<?php require(DIR_WS_INCLUDES'footer.php'); ?>.

<! footer_eof //>.

<br>.

</body>.

</html>.

<?php require(DIR_WS_INCLUDES'application_bottom.php'); ?>.

So it appears it is using a call HEADING_IMAGE_WIDTH, HEADING_IMAGE_HEIGHT which I am going to assume is what is causing the white space since the table_background_specials.gif isn't actually a image..

If this is the case I can just remove this from the code:.

<tr>.

<td class="pageHeading"><?php echo HEADING_TITLE; ?></td>.

<td class="pageHeading" align="right"><?php echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES'table_background_specials.gif', HEADING_TITLE, HEADING_IMAGE_WIDTH, HEADING_IMAGE_HEIGHT); ?></td>.

</tr>.

And all should be well?.

Wrong file....

This is causing the space:.

<td class="pageHeading" align="right"><img src="images/table_background_specials.gif" alt="Promotions" title=" Promotions " width="80" border="0" height="100"></td>..
