Got a question, hope someone can answer... I want to know about Dukan Diet n fitness? Thanks for any answer or 2. Another question I got... I'm looking for some good beet recipes. I've never cooked any before so I picked up a couple small cans to try, of course now I don't know what to do with them...

Good question... I dunno what is the answer to that question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I discover an anything. You should email the people at Dukan Diet as they probably could help you..

Hubby used to like them just cold out of the can - I like to heat mine.

Dont add anything - unless some onion powder..

They're great on salad too..

If you really want to treat yourself, buy some fresh ones and roast them. They are like candy! Course I think most vegetables taste like candy when they're roasted...

I am with ERIE - roasted Beets are great! We like to grill them in the Summer, too...

I prefer mine pickled and cold - water, vinegar (flavor is your choice - I use Apple Cider) and Splenda. Doesn't take long at all.....

Make a short cut borscht. Saute red cabbage, celery, carrots, garlic, and onion until tender and/or caramelised. Add beets(including liquid if from a jar or can), a bay leaf or two, and liquid(water or broth). Let it simmer and serve...

Nice with a salad of chopped apple, cubed beets, on a bed of romaine, some dressing, (ff) blue cheese crumbles and some candied pecans (dinner fat)...

Fresh, roasted with a splash of balsamic vinegar...HATED beets as a kid...now love em...except the mess prepping them...lol..

I like to eat mine with low calorie italian salad dressing. I add cracked black pepper and red onions and is wonderful. Amy..

I grate raw beet with fennel for a salad. I top with orange zest and dress with a fat free vinegerette...

Mom used to grate beets and carrots - put 2 small mounds on lettuce for a winter salad - back ten you didnt get much salad stuff in winter...then she dabbed mayo I think - could put anything on it..

I always liked my grandmother's borscht. It's not quite the same as the traditional, but can easily be made from the canned variety!.

Drain all liquid from beets. Put in blender and blend, or grate by hand if prefer. Add a little salt (or substitute) and pepper. Mix in a Tbsp FF sour cream before serving. You might have to add a bit of sugar sub and/or vinegar, depending on the preparation of the canning of the beets...

I love just about any vegetable roasted and tossed with balsamic vinegar - asparagus is another favorite to prepare this way. I have a couple of cans of beets at home right now - it's about 5 degrees today in Chicago, and hot borscht with dinner sounds great!..

I put shredded canned beets on bed of lettuce, top with FF ranch and a few splashes of red wine vinegar - great salad!..
