I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I got an answer. You should email the people at Dukan Diet as they probably could give you an answer..
I pour the package into a separate bowl and add some liquid egg whites, a little milk instead of water and some pepper, then heat it up in the microwave. Adding some chopped onion and mushrooms (if you like them) and a slice of ff cheese can also do the trick..
I fix them in a skillet and add an egg or egg beaters for my protein. I like all the egg dishes...
Sell them to me.
Nah, this is what I put on other thread.
"i eat eggs almost every morning, have for the last 8 months or so on NS..
Its great... I mix them with warm water while a pan preheats, grind a lil fresh salt and pepper into it and mix. butter pam spray the pan when it's warm and dump in the eggs...
I lift the sides and let the runny part get under to thicken it up and cook quicker, all the while I have my slice of bread (since I'm a guy) in the toaster oven gettin toasty, and 4 slices of turkey bacon in the microwave. put in middle of paper towels, 2 mins first go around, flip, cook another 1 minute..
Then I flip the omelet when it's strong enough, put a slice of 2% cheddar or pepperjack, take one or two pieces bacon and braek up and put over cheese, then I put some hot sauce chalula and siracha. fold, put over bread, devour.
Its a little high on calories, but I hit the gym 6 days a week and have to add ~1200 calories a day (esp when I am cycling) to maintain loss."..
If you really can't stand eating them, use them in place of a regular egg or egg substitute in recipes. I do it all the time...
I just could never get used to them, no matter what I tried! I like egg beaters, though...
I feel the same way..
I tried them again and just couldn't eat them. I had to throw it out. I did it on the stove, still tasted as weird. I hope it's not a substitute in my order coming in tomorrow...
I like them, I'm always surprized that I like them b/c I always think hmm, as I'm making them - but I cook them on the stove with pam as was mentioned and I like to add spinach and tomatoes - ooo, I bet a bit of feta would be great too - mmm - I just didn't think nuking them would work out so I never even tried it...
I eat the eggs every day this way:.
Add 2/3 cup water to cup..
Add pepper to taste..
Add 1/3 cup dried green onions.
Add 1/3 cup dried chopped onions.
Add pinch of salt if desired..
Add small splash of olive oil if desired..
Mix with spoon. Be patient. This will take a bit as the cup is quite full. Be sure to bring up all the "yellow" dried egg from the bottom..
Add 1/3 cup dried corn. Mix carefully. I know it sounds strange, but try it..
Into the microwave for 30 seconds..
Bring it out. Mix again well..
Back into the microwave for 55 seconds..
When you bring it out, let it "rest". It will finish cooking in that time. I simply eat it out of the cup. If you make it right, it will rise almost over the top like a souffle..
This sounds strange, but I love it. I eat the eggs with the veggie sausage crumbles. And I have lost 105 pounds doing it this way..
It couldn't hurt to try it...
Had Dukan Diet eggs this morning - added the water & 1/4 cup eggbeaters & let it sit while I cooked 3 pieces turkey bacon...took bacon out & sauted fresh mushrooms and spinach - then poured egg mixture - covered - cooked as omelet...boy it was huge and filling - waited about an hour or 2 to have my banana..
Really like the Dukan Diet eggs cause there are so many things that can be added to them. But ALWAYS cook them on stove - at least I do...
Slight tangent - how is turkey bacon? I've been afraid to try it..
Is it really anything like pork bacon? I did try the veggie sausage (Morningstar) and liked the patties, did not like the links. And I finally tried fat free hot dogs yesterday (Hebrew Nat.) and was surprised how much I liked them...
Turkey bacon is good. Now that I eat it, I think it has a better flavor than full fat pork bacon. Be careful which brand you use, some are high in fat. Jeannie-O Lean is the best, but I can't find that in my area. I use Butterball, it's not bad, I eat 3 pieces...
Ok - egg question. if you don't like the Dukan Diet eggs, can't you simply substitute either one egg or three egg whites?.
I believe breakfast is one Dukan Diet meal, a dairy or protein and a fruit..
But the non-NS breakfast is one protein, one low GI carb, a dairy or protein and a fruit..
So if you don't like the Dukan Diet meals, you can just cook up one egg or three egg whites as that counts as one protein. plus, you get to have toast. yes? or am I losing at math again?..
I too use the Butterball turkey...3 pieces have 3.5 g fat I believe - so sometimes I just have 2...makes me feel better LOL.
But adding this to 1/4 cup eggbeaters fits stats for a protein - can have that and then a bowl of Dukan Diet cereal with a banana - sure can be filling...
