Your question was: I need to buy hosting for a domain for or less than 20$/m (not godaddy)?.
I tried lydia.com but it doesn't appear to be a valid website...
I'd say what was meant was.
Its a subscription based training service.
A quick search brings up this http://www.increaseranking.com/seotutorial.html.
Also this tool is useful http://www.seoworkers.com/tools/..
The guys in the SEO threads here at namepros are great - nick in particular. I found it impossible at first - even to get indexed. after learning some tricks here I don't really worry any more, a few basics and it sorts itself out.
I've polled a few people's favorite SEO tools, and put them on namehugger.com for easy access - just go to the 'development' list and read through all the SEO links, most are really helpful.
One of the first things people will tell you is to use all that lovely virgin signature space you've got!..
Thanks for the links, Nick. I'll check 'em out along with the others you have listed...
WebCEO is a great free resource for on-page optimisation & limited directory submission.
Good forums to check out are.
Webmasterworld.com (have to pay a small amount to use).
Hope this helps..
Buy the SEOBook from Aaron Wall. He is considered the #1 SEO in the world (that doesn't work for Google!) and he pretty much bares all in his book. He also gives free updates, and it is updated at least once a year, sometimes more often...
Interesting as I was also looking at new resoutce tools...
I'll second WebProWorld and also suggest you check out SEOmoz, SearchEngineLand (their editor-in-chief, Danny Sullivan, is one of the kings of SEO), the SEOchat forums and HighRankings. There are a couple of others that I'll look for in my bookmarks at home.
Keep in mind that a lot of SEO is just pure speculation and that there are MANY things some people swear by with just as many people swearing those same things DON'T work.
So be prepared for a fair amount of conflicting information and stick with the basics while you learn what you think might work for YOU and YOUR sites!.
Remember too that sometimes (especially with Google) it can take a VERY LONG time to get the rankings that you want. And if you are in a highly competitive niche, you may never get in the top 3 pages.
Also, here's a link to the "Basics of SEO" in PDF format from the folks at SEOmoz, http://www.seomoz.org/user_files/SEO...heat_Sheet.pdf.
(I think I found this a few days back in a NP thread but can't find it now to give credit too the OP)..
Nick's the guy with a profile image that looks like a blue spooky well dressed ghost. He knows his stuff..
Also get on to using your lovely signature space for inbound links, that'd be a first step...
He has changed his business model recently. Now you can join his SEO Community Forums for $100 per month and participate in discussion with him about your SEO issues or questions you have in mind about anything SEO...
Well dressed Ghost LOLOL.
I would have jumped on this thread in SEO section but just found it while searching.
