Your question was: I have a website and GODADDY.COM is my host. How can I edit my web page cause they do not have that ?
Ok let me more detailed I did it right after I called and just wanted to get it out there basically I called in for a service call to try to get my account back and running and the guy tried to sell me a HostGator instead of fixing it he said the person who would fix it would get back at me through email but that he had edu3d.com for a special price, reg fees just for me lol..
I gotcha. Was it a hosting related problem? More then likely he had to submit to to AHS (Advanced Hosting Support) or even ATS (Advanted Tech Support). Neither of those derpatments deal with customers via telephone.
I had to get my tdnam account back and running becus I forgot to pay for a HostGator that I had won..
Anyhow, Im surprised he offered to sell you one of his own HostGator names. Talk about against GD Policy. He'd probably be fired if Quality Assurance heard that convo...
GD's customer service when you call always will try to sell you something "services" they are pushed to do that + they get comm, but in your case yes it is funny to ask csts if they want to buy a HostGator lol.
Does godaddy cancel your tdnam accoun if you forgot to pay a won bid?..
Naw it dont cancel it , it just blocks it til you pay and sometimes fines u..
And he was selling edu3d.com for reg fee, or trying to get you to reg it?..
Tryin to get me to reg it sayin that it will be worth millions in 10 yrs thats it a 5 char blah blah and I was like yea man I'm tryin to focus on my 4 char domains first plus my account is blocked can you get it running first lol..
Maybe he liked You, and wanted to give you the inside scoop on a million dollars, that way you'll call him back to thank him Can't you see it in the way he changed the focus..
This whole story about the rep trying to sell you that HostGator sounds like a bunch of BS to me!.
You started this post on 6-1-2008 but the HostGator was registered by eNom on May 27th. You said the rep was going to sell it for Reg Fee, but it wasn't even available. I am assuming you placed your call on June 1, since it's common to make a post right after something happens....
I have never heard of any rep trying to push available or even expired domains at any registrar. Hosting or SSL yah, but not domains!..
Sorry, time for pred to roll out his favourite popcorn pic Here..
